Thanks for this review! I’m obsessed with linen. I dry mine part way on low and then dry the rest of the way over my bed. They come out wrinkle free -until I use them! Then delightfully wrinkled and messy!
Great video. I’m glad it popped up for me. Been looking for linen sheets as I get very itchy with my current set of sheets. I’m gonna try The Target sheets. Thanks!
How do you sleep cool in the winter without the bedding feeling way too cold and getting freezing. For example night sweats in the winter if that makes sense. Would wool be better ?
Good question! It's definitely a balance. I tend to err on the side of being cold. If I'm chilled, I'll run my BedJet for 30 minutes on high. Otherwise, it runs on cool throughout the night, even in winter. I sleep under a duvet cover (basically two sheets) and a light quilt. As my feet tend to get cold, I dress in socks, shorts and a light tee (made of modal). Wool is a great fabric... Experiment with a "thin" wool blanket first
What would be the best for cooling and wrinkle resistance? I'm torn between percale cotton and lyocell sheets + duvet cover. I don't want to go with linen or hemp just yet due to costs but also I've read they very susceptible to wrinkles. Now to find a comforter ....uh oh...
Lyocell is MUCH BETTER than cotton (although admittedly, a bit pricier...). Both fibers breathe, but when wet, cotton stays wet... Lyocell (or linen, or hemp) wicks that moisture away, keeping you cool.
@@ComfortSleepSanctuary Cool!! Thank you so much!! :) I'm excited!! I'm still looking for a comforter though.. Trying to find something that's in the middle in terms of fill and weight that keeps me cooler in the 100-200$ range..
Have you checked out my comforter video? Buffy vs Sheets & Giggles, both made of Lyocell. (Although, my current preference is a linen quilt that I use all year round.)
I think Lyocell is cooler than cotton, but I don’t care for the silky feel of lyocell. I prefer percale cotton in a 200-250 thread count for cool feel. But linen is my favorite!
I bought Brooklinen at her recommendation. I love them. I my heart set on the Cultiver brand. I always buy bedding and linens with my tax refund. The Cultivers will be over $400, so that's all I can do this year. Ive heard nothing but great things. I can't wait to research Quince. How do you like them, Wow its Russ?
@@cbar65a they're okay. From what I've heard the brooklinen comes softer probably them doing that rapid washing method. But overall I got a bundle (sheets, fitted, duvet cover, 2 pillowcases, and 2 shams for queen for $270. If you like bamboo try purple sheets I have about 4 sets of those.
@@wowitsruss I have 3 sets. They gave us two sets when we bought the mattress. Honestly, I'm not sure where the 3rd set came from. I have two sets of linen sheets, Brooklinen and Snowe. The Snowe much higher quality. The weave use much denser. It's so soft, it almost feels like wool. I can't wait to buy the Cultiver set.
I've been looking for your videos! Thanks for the great content! You turned me away from cotton. You turned me on to linen. They're expensive, so I can only order one set from Cultiver this year. I think I saw somewhere that you used a Bedjet. I sleep hot here in Oklahoma. Could you please make a video about it?

I’ve become such a linen “snob” that I bring it along on road trips to use instead of hotel linen…
@@ComfortSleepSanctuary i get it! I have a linen sheet I use for tent camping in the summer.

Enjoy your new sheets!
Bicarb soda in the wash with your detergent or powder it’ll soften up
I do this every wash
Helps soften my linen. Xx
Thanks for the tip!
What do you think of Mulberry silk bedding ?
I love silk... but as it's, ahem, a bit pricey, I go with silk pillowcases.

What’s a bedjet? Bamboo sheets heat up soooo bad lol
I love my linen bedding all year round.
(If you haven't already) check out my other videos on the BedJet, which sends a cooling (or warming) stream of air under the covers.
Thank you for this review, your cat acts just mines he made the video fun😸
Thanks for watching! I never know what Andy is up to until I see the takes in editing. 😅

Derp. I should finish watching the whole video before commenting. Apologies.
And I was just about to send out the link ;-)
Update: yes, I'm still enjoying my BedJet over a year later!
Cute cat lol but your car a scratching post so he stops scratching your bedhead :( or cut his nails a bit. Helps also
Wish he would let me cut his nails... but no luck. He and his brother get the finest scratching posts, however. (Offscreen.)
