Nice to see a video where someone is actually fixing their opera lights on their classic Chevrolet Caprice. I totally agree that you got ripped off paying $167.00 for those lights. That is total robbery and i would be pissed off. I don't blame people wanting to make profits but not that kind of markup.
In the future if you do another box opera lights. You could get the power from the old light wires. There’s a connection in the wall behind some black factory sound proofing. Tap into the white and black below the voltage converter box
Looks good. U might want to Check your wiring from the inverter. I believe the opera lights ran of an inverter. Sounds like u dont need the inverter now, but u can just check the power going into the inverter. I know the older model gm cars did run off one.

Where did you tuck the box that’s attached to the LED lights? I see the cord wasn’t long enough to make it through the hole that’s in the pillar .
I ran wires from inside and hid it behind the panel where the seatbelts are
