Nagas never forgets the help and support given by the Chinese 🇨🇳 government and it's people's during 60s and 70s when the fight between the Nagas and Indian colonialist were at the worst...... Nagas owes a lot to the Chinese 🇨🇳 ... In the future too I hope Nagas and the Chinese needs to help and support each other so that one day Nagas can achieve what they always yarn and wish for that is to live as free Nation..... This Naga bowl is the same with Baan bowl and bota. But ban bowl and bota is made of brass metal. In ancient times the baan bowl was used extensively by Assamese people, but now only a few people use it. But bottas are often used to serve tambul pan ( betel nut ) to guests.

In 1918, Dimapur was leased to then Naga Hills district (Now Nagaland) by then erstwhile Assam Province of British of India for 30 years for construction of Railways lines (unclear from which district).In 1963, it was again leased to now state of Nagaland for 99 years. There is controversy surrounding this claim, as both state governments have not come forward to comment on the matter.
Dimapur is already connected by train. But till kohima it will take time. Indian Govt. hv planned to connect all the capitals of NE through railway. Assam, arunchal, and tripura's state capitals are already connected. MANIPUR'S capital Imphal will be connected within two years as per the construction work rate, later on it will connect to Myanmar. Mizoram and meghalaya also have started the project but it will take time to reach capitals.

Sister You look like from West China Thanks for exploring our North East India What i found puzzle me is when ever a Chinese ask question they always end in ”Ma” Like Nihao ma , Wo aiji Ma we too in our tribe we use Ma like a lah me ma？ , A dep me ma？ , a joh me ma？ We called our mum as ”Bei” and father as ”Pa” We have our girl nick name like ”Mei lung” mei mei , Deng, Ching, Lung, We Asian are one big family.
To my Naga friends......I understand due to facial differences we are different but this is called unity in diversity. And in most of the big countries it hapoens. The country from where Madam has come China has got far more complex issues with seperist movments in Tibet, Xinxiang, Qinghai, Hongkong etc. but they have handled it in their own way and now it is almost controlled. Huge development has been carried in those areas. Our BJP govt has understood this and are working in it. Its obvious the asians descend from Mongolia may be lakhs of years ago that does not mean all Asians go bk to Mongolia. Like many Indians desend from West Asia , Africa that does not mean they go back to their land of origin. It was your forefathers choice to come here & settle for a better life. Now when you see that China has been developed to the next level you are remembering your Chinese descedency. We gave to accept the reality and yes fight for justice & development in your motherland only. And we are proud of our North India brothers & Sisters who arevvery much patriotic than many of us. Can we ever forget the contribution of the Arunachal people, the Gorkha, Naga regiment. etc. Now due to foreign indulgence & involved some local chaps gets involved into anti-national activities but it has come down to a very miniscule level. MAO TO Imphal 95% well paved, latest update. And imphal to silchar in assam also 95% well paved. Till silchar to Aizawl also 93% well paved.
