Definitely noticed the tempo/vibe of the night so much different without Boyd. As much as I love him and his amazing fills on so many great tunes the band proves it can exist through multiple line up changes with ease. I will say this tho, Jeff's talent is limitless and between he and Rashaun their sound can not be touched. They sound better than an entire band by themselves. Personally I thought that the PHJB just sounded like a mess. jeff and Rashaun NEVER lose control of the perfection they put forward day in and day out. Guests are great and all but there needs to be a connection. The PHJB just does not have with the boys
