I only watch beauty influencers like you who sit in their bedroom and do their makeup and talk about beauty/fashion because I can relate to them. I miss bedroom tutorials of natural/glam beauty looks (considered a night out look in the OG days) not videos where the glam look with false eyelashes, heavy contour, shiny highlighter and heavy foundation is an “everyday” look 😒 like stop promoting that!
Your dad is absolutely right. I want to watch a “non professional” makeup guru do their makeup because I know I can achieve that end goal. I prefer watching everyday people go through their makeup routines and hearing their honest feedback on the products. It’s more relevant for the majority! :)

This was so nostalgic for me 💕 when I was younger my mom got really sick around the time that all of my friends were learning about makeup from their moms. I was really self conscious about not knowing how to do anything beauty related. You taught me about hair and makeup in an unintimidating way. I love this watch-my-friend-do-their-makeup vibe and I really miss these kind of makeup videos on TH-cam. Totally agree with your dad, I would much rather watch this than a 'professional makeup artist' show me something I will never attempt.

Let me just tell you, TH-cam has turned into this competitive and catty place. Where it came to point that there’s now “gossip magazines” aka gossip channel’s to “spill tea” on people all the time. Now, this video. The products, background, the content and the vibe in general took me back to years where TH-cam was a place to learn and relax and just vibe with your favorite youtuber. And that’s what I look for in a channel, I don’t want a commercial. Thank you for that!

Hi! Licensed esthetician here! Pores actually do not open or close. However steam from hot water can cause your clogged pores to release the sebum underneath and show in your makeup!

I started watching you as a teen , I used to suffer from anxiety and depression and seeing you live your life helped to do little things that anxiety made difficult e.g. cleaning my room, morning routines , showers etc . You should make a separate channel that's all interior design stuff. Maybe you could make over friends, subscribers, other TH-camrs places. You could even start by just posting design elements that you find on Amazon that you like or some other store. I think it would be a lot of fun and would be a way for you to combine two worlds into one.

Blaire you’re the reason I love doing makeup so much!!!! I’m good at makeup but I don’t do those crazy looks like the professional artists in TH-cam. There is talent in regular makeup and it’s okay to showcase what you love. You’re good at regular makeup and people love to see it :)

It was nice to hear you undedited, I liked hearing the story with your dad, and you being honest about your insecurities is amazing. Love you and glad you're back. You feel like an old friend.

Honestly love long rambling videos because then I have something to watch while I am getting ready or while I am eating breakfast. It's not all about the look itself, it is also the way you talk and describe the steps, the colours, you yourself that we enjoy seeing...so much more than just the final outcome of the make up look! Please keep on doing those tutorials, I personally enjoy them very much!
I never watch any make up tutorials because I‘m just not that interested in make up but I watch yours because I like you and your personality and I feel like most people probably watch your videos because of that so don‘t worry 🥰💕

You should make a separate channel that's all interior design stuff. Maybe you could make over friends, subscribers, other TH-camrs places. You could even start by just posting design elements that you find on Amazon that you like or some other store. I think it would be a lot of fun and would be a way for you to combine two worlds into one.

I used to watch your videos when I was 15/16, now I am 25 and very randomly went on youtube and remembered about your chanel. Now that I'm an adult and do make up myself I understand why I used to love your chanel when I was a kid. You are a person of perfection. Perhaps even thanks to your videos my English has altered when I was young...
