So cool meeting you guys at the Market, i’m glad my E36 got in the shot and my reaction was priceless. 😂 Love seeing how Quin leveled up from his own channel into Throtl! Keep it up boys!!
Wild it took you guys so long! I went there from AZ the weekend after Paul & Roger passed. Got to meet the family that lived there, suuuuper nice people at the time. Had all the transcripts of the movies, and overall super friendly. Got a couple pics out front and on the driveway then took off to go to the crash site. Was really surreal being there, there was at least a hundred plus people there, and it was dead ass silent.
I absolutely love that these movies are getting a little more respect these days. I know they're ridiculous and there's eleventeen of them out, but I don't care. They're just so much fun and the early ones really shed some light on the car culture. Thanks for doing these tributes.
It would of been more rewarding if atleast one of the location's looked just as simular as it did in the movie but hey, another great experience going back down memory lane!!!It's appreciated Fella's!!!
This video brings back so many good memories. Next time I'm in LA, def checking out the place. One thing, the eclipse gsx build is sick but I wish you guys would do something about the rear. It looks incomplete IMO. It needs a rear diffuser or something to close the gap. Perhaps come up some ideas for a rear and let the user choose like you guys did with the Evo build. That eclipse is too legendary to leave it like that.
Still love Fast & Furious. First time I watched it was about 6 months before release around November 2000. There was a workprint SVCD leak of it online. It was missing a lot of the effects, and had none of the soundtrack or audio effects though. So it was weird in scenes like the rave scene in the desert. Because everyone is dancing and all you can hear is people chatting and shuffling their feet, since it only had the source audio and the dance music hadnt been edited in yet. Was lucky enough to get an invite to the advanced premiere which iirc was around March 2001 and it blew my mind watching it in a special screening, with all the music and the effects. I actually drove to it in my r34 gtt at the time. Had been infatuated with skylines since the R32 in the early 90s.. To this day I still own my R33 that i've had since 2007. I would have loved to get an R34 GT-R but theyre just so far out of reach now its ridiculous.
When I was LA for work we had a condo in Hacienda Heights. Went to the mall near there and had this weird feeling like I'd been there before. Inside they have the Twin Pines Mall sign and I knew exactly why I felt that way. I was there with Marty and Doc Brown.
Should've asked him about the 1st gen Honda Crx and those wheels on it 🔥 The scene where the chase on the motorcycles is in Chinatown close by. The part when he crashes under bridge is about 10-15 minutes away from the house and market in Echo Park.
I visited both while we road tripped to L.A. from Knoxville, TN. Will never forget the feeling of seeing the house, the driveway, the market and seeing the inside and seeing where the movie masterpiece took place. Even visited Walker’s grave. Will never forget that.
From what I recall the garage at the Toretto house did originally exist, but it was torn down after the first movie. They rebuilt it again as a prop afterwards when it was needed again for the later movies.
ok this is pretty awesome!!! I can't imagine what yall went through going to these destinations with the eclipse!! Alot of really awesome memories and how a lot of our generation and younger got in to cars I feel!! I probably saw the first F&F easily 8 times at the theaters
i know the cars are meant to promote their merch so they can essentially double the cash they spent on the car with the giveaways but id be appreciated if they did a pull or more driving footage compared to the 1min or so of screen time
Man I'm restoring an FC RX7 and if I could make it look HALF as nice as Mickey's FD I'd be proud. The stories behind things like his wheels and now his exhaust are unreal and some serious car guy bucket list dream items.
just rewatched the movie today, what a memories, same places 20 years later looks so different, gonna miss 2000 good old times, without problems and worries.
Been to the Market/House twice this year (visiting from Hawaii) and it really is surreal. My g/f had a good time laughing at me as I was just in awe, like I was at Disneyland or something.
the car community should rally together and make a go fund me & buy torretos market and make it a historical land mark & have car shows there. that would be amazing!
The store looks a lot different in the movie but it is filmed in the store still, they just built that big counter table in the middle and the back room behind it. you can actually see the two posts in the movie going into the counter that is next to you guys in the video. when you put the clip you showed from the movie next to the video of you guys looking around the store you can see the poles and walls all line up perfect.
Wow this brought me back memories. Great video guys. Have a question? I have a 2013 Acura ilx is there parts for this car to make it look fast and furious type.
Great to see those places! That movie influenced me for sure too. By that time when movie came out I was 20 years old.😂 When I was last time in L.A. I had no time to check them. So Thanks.🙏
me and my friends saw The Fast and the Furious at the dollar movie theater (R.I.P.) in like 2009, we loved that shit, my fav car was Jessie's Jetta which now that I think about it is probably one of the reasons I'm a VW nut today
I love the content you guys keep bringing for us viewers to watch and we love to support you guys any way we can. Ive always wanted to know 1 thing and thats if you guys ever rebuilt a honda civic cx. ive searched your channel and i dont think ive seen a video on it. i own a honda civic cx and want to see peoples builds because its my fav car ever since fast and furious
Hello Friends Greetings from Chile Congratulations for the content, they make the best modified cars in the world and that is impressive they motivate oneself to continue fighting for their dreams
Love this kinda content guys, hopefully you guys make more like this in the future...BTW what happen about your second channel "Throtl 2"? Maybe you should make this kinda content at your second channel Keep up good the work guys and God Speed 🔥🔥🔥
The car is really nice it’s just the rims and spoiler throw it off, if you had matched them to Brian’s eclipse then it’d be spot on. Amazing job though!
So cool meeting you guys at the Market, i’m glad my E36 got in the shot and my reaction was priceless. 😂 Love seeing how Quin leveled up from his own channel into Throtl! Keep it up boys!!

Let's just say there's three of them.
The 1st and the 3rd are the only goof movies from the trilogy.

Fast and Furious History 101. Just Great to see the Buildings that started it all... Amazing.

I’m so glad to see that the red Super Advans made it back onto an FD! By far one of the best looking wheels for that platform.
When I was LA for work we had a condo in Hacienda Heights. Went to the mall near there and had this weird feeling like I'd been there before. Inside they have the Twin Pines Mall sign and I knew exactly why I felt that way. I was there with Marty and Doc Brown.

Can't wait for a collab with Dustin's Evo, TJ's RB Mustang and the Eclipse!

This is like a bonus video since Hoonigan just uploaded a new video too!

Crazy, but I got chills when you parked the Eclipse in front of the market and house. Like Mickey said, it’s part of car culture. Great one.
just rewatched the movie today, what a memories, same places 20 years later looks so different, gonna miss 2000 good old times, without problems and worries.
I love this Eclipse Fast & Furious car I remember watching this build all you guys done a fantastic job.
Yo! I know Kenji!! He and I go way back, I used to come by Greddy from time to time. Haven't talked to him in awhile.
I enjoyed your channel after watching the Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX tuning clip! I'm looking forward to seeing a clip of Toyota Supra in fast and furious
Amazing to see the attention the car deserves 💯

Just seeing Mitsubishi Eclipse in the title I’m in my feels 😪 miss my old dsm wish I never had to sell her 😭😭😭😭
Great video with the Eclipse on beautiful spots!!! 😉
the car community should rally together and make a go fund me & buy torretos market and make it a historical land mark & have car shows there. that would be amazing!
You guys should have went to Johnny Tran's spot at the Asian market in Westminister. Thats another popular spot from the movie.
Should find the stadium shot of the eclipse spinning out

I was 20 and already driving a modified 1985 Civic hatch when TF&TF came out. I saw it so many times in the theater. Good times.
I still remember leaving the movie theater with my shit box and my friends thinking we were in the movie 🎬
We wanna a Drift Car on the Channel
Love seeing the eclipse!
Should have reached out to DDE and got a hold of Hector to meet you there
Just needed the roof scoop to be perfect but I freaking love this car soo much 😍
Wrong body kit, wing, rims, etc, still a cool build tho
There should be a laptop made out of cardboard that says "DANGER TO MANIFOLD" in the passenger seat😆 awesome
They did have the floorboards, though!!
I have a 2012 mitsubishi lancer ralliart turbo. I would love to see the eclipse and the ralliart..
We need to see the Red Lightning. The Green Eclipse, and the Future Orange Supra together in a Future Video.
