My local record store, Diverse Records in Newport, put me onto these and then I saw them the same year at a gig in TJs in Newport. I’ve loved the band ever since. There haven’t been many of their gigs in South Wales that I’ve missed either.

Band just keeps getting better. I prevailed upon several of my AmRep/early Touch & Go-phile friends to buy the first record and we're all waiting for the new one. That, and a US tour. Last time I saw Falco and co. on stage, it was 2004 and they were touring under some sort of bizarre alias, with now-defunct Yourcodenameis:Milo. Good times.

military dress, old people, hipsters, beer, dog in dress, cup painting, rocks, wrapped sandwich, fish, eyeballs, shoes, no to bears, donkey, baby on a donkey, every one loves donkeys, plastic soldiers, plastic camels, lizard, panda, owl, kittens, puzzle, people peeing, couple dancing, ketchup, drunk people, sinking ship. No reason to dislike that video.

This is amazing! Im very very interested to see them live. Im a huge Mclusky fan and have been interested since they split in what they are all doing. I saw the old drummers new band BUGGA in Penzance some time ago and they were not quite...well....good but then thats local bands, FOTL is so obviously the next level.
Thier website doesnt ever seem to be updated so finding live shows is hard....help? Tip offs anyone?

How is it possible to have an emo version of a band that's already emo?
To this day, six years later, I still wish I could find a list of what the various visual puns mean in this video. There's an ass, a fish being drunk, that same fish puking, a bear being crossed (cross the bear?), high heels passed over someone's head, and several references to armies and war, but I feel like so much goes right over my head. Does it only make sense to residents of Cardiff? Or to patrons of the Vulcan?
xTheOxx I mean if argue these images are really only important if you interpate them, or don't, it's your world. sometimes are deserves a guide, but most times, I think it's better the audience get what they get out of it.
I learned long ago that some FotL lyrics and visuals are beyond mere human understanding
