    This was so timely for me. Thank you. I was so proud of myself yesterday when I said no to extra students for the day after finding out that my para was out and my students would not have their special (therefore, no planning time for me.) The only reason I was able to say no, though, was because last week was a nightmare of having things piled on with no breaks and finally saying no in an emotional way when the straw broke this camel's back. It is much better to say no when you are in control of your emotions than it is to have to say no because you just can't do one more thing.

      Hi there. Setting boundaries is key to maintaining balance. Saying no before reaching your limit shows great self-awareness. Good for you for advocating for yourself. Thanks for sharing your experience.😊
