- Shortly after midnight on Tuesday 29 May 1453, the final offensive of the Ottomans into Constantinople began. Janissaries attacked first, followed by successive waves of the irregular azaps, who were poorly trained and equipped and Anatolian Turkmen beylik forces who focused on a section of the damaged Blachernae walls in the north-west part of the city. This section of the walls had been built earlier, in the 11th century, and was much weaker. The Turkmen mercenaries managed to breach this section of walls and entered the city but they were just as quickly pushed back by the defenders. Finally, the last wave consisting of elite Janissaries, attacked the city walls. The Genoese general in charge of the defenders on land, Giovanni Giustiniani, was grievously wounded during the attack, and his evacuation from the ramparts caused a panic in the ranks of the defenders.
With Giustiniani's Genoese troops retreating into the city and towards the harbour, Constantine and his men, now left to their own devices, continued to hold their ground against the Janissaries. Constantine's men eventually could not prevent the Ottomans from entering the city and the defenders were overwhelmed at several points along the wall. Janissaries, led by Ulubatlı Hasan, pressed forward. Many Greek soldiers ran back home to protect their families, the Venetians retreated to their ships and a few of the Genoese escaped to Galata. The rest surrendered or committed suicide by jumping off the city walls. Constantinople was finally conquered and the childhood dream of Mehmed II was achieved. - บันเทิง

i think you forget to add real vedio of mehmat series and only add poster though out the end.
This type of content's thing is to put a static photo of the event with a Wojak drawing in front. The clip at the first normally wasn't going to be there, but I wanted to add it as a reference to the famous hadith marking the Conquest centuries in advance. The poster is pretty much intentional.
This is for what they did to the Andalusians.
You mean the people who invaded Iberia and got chased out again? It's pathetic how you people try so hard to paint yourselves as victims.
Sorry but what you‘re saying is simply untrue.
When Mehmed II conquered Constantinople he showed everyone mercy. He did not confiscate the people possessions. He did not rape nor plunder. He led his people, even the ones he has just conquered into a new golden age.
When they ripped Andalusia from muslim hands they raped and pillaged. They stole and destroyed. They promised religious freedom and broke their promises. They committed countless crimes that can never be atoned for.
It can never be seen as an exchange. Nor can it ever be seen as revenge.
It simply cannot be compared.
Unrelated. arab-spanish war vs Turkish-byzantium war
Its all done when you hear 100,000 men shout 'tekbir' proudly outside your city walls
This video is a special one. Take a look at the upload date in the description ;)
"On May the 29th 1453, sultan Mehmet the second, enters Constantinople."
reis warband da yardırmış :)
:D
first video is kinda of a disrespect to Mehmed 2 you shouldnt put a arab speaking
It's a flashback to Prophet Muhammad's hadith that Constantinople will be conquered. The Arab speaking there is Abu Hurayra, a close companion of Prophet Muhammad. It's no disrespect to Mehmed II, it's instead a praise.
@@AwayFromHistory oh my bad didnt listened it well. Didnt notice it was Abu Hurayra my bad. Nice video tho
No problem, thanks! ❤
@@AwayFromHistoryBro that's not Abu hurayra that's Abu Al ayub al ansari who himself got martyred during the ummayad siege of Constantinople
