I wish I could compare the beignets in France to the ones in New Orleans, Louisiana. I love the word "gunge". That word hasn't made it into US usage yet. I would gain so much weight and go broke in a Disney Park from the food alone. When I hear you say the portions are too big for one person, I think I'd feel like an alien eating in front of you since Americans are used to portions that size. LOL.
