Hey raven, if you’re planning to redecorate the playroom, maybe consider turning into Ziya’s “studio”! You can have fun with the walls, maybe paint splatter or a palette? A craft table, some displays for her toys/creations, an easel, and tons of multi-use storage? You could have her draw some things to frame on her walls, or even create something as a mother/daughter craft. I think that would be a kid-friendly/development appropriate theme that could still be cute.
When she said she reuses gift bags & tissue paper….baby that hit my heart ❤️ 😂 one time I gave my mom the same bag back & she was like Awww my black Santa Christmas gift bag….. I can reuse this 😂😂😂

An art corner would be great for Ziya. Place some sort of rug or mat under an art table. To protect your carpet but also washable. My daughter is Autistic but her happy place is art, crafts, and drawing/coloring like Ziya. I keep her materials out of reach and just watch her in her corner when necessary. Great vlog Raven! I love that Ziya is learning to sew. I feel like it’s a dying skill. My grandmother taught my mom who taught me. I’m 27 and still learning but it is an amazing life skill.

Here's a easter egg-hunt tip if you have kids different ages, give them different coloured eggs. My cousins (brothers) are 10 years apart in age (3 and 13 years old). I made a little egg-hunt for the two of them and told the older one that the blue eggs were his and the yellow eggs were for his brother. I picked the brightest colour for the little one so they were easier to spot. I hid the yellow eggs in plain sight and hid the blue eggs in harder to find places. This gave the 13 year old more of a challenge and ensured that he wouldn't go after the 3 year olds eggs. This meant that they would get an equal amount of eggs each and you can customise the content of the eggs to the child/age (older got candy he liked, 3 year old got less sugary treats).
Raven I truly commend you for throwing all of these parties because the simple idea of people in my home misplacing my things and needing to be entertained has this introvert exhausted lol
I’m American living in Kuwait and here you can have a live in nanny who cooks, cleans,takes care of the kids, and waits on you hand and foot for about $600 monthly. She typically sleeps in a small room next to the kitchen and she always wears scrubs. I personally would never have a maid or nanny, but Raven hired Zoe with the understanding she would do all task asked of her so y’all mind y’all business
You should add a peg board to your craft room; I bought the dollar tree peg boards and diy’d them by spray painting half of the boards and covering the other half of board with marble vinyl and did a tiling design; I also spray painted the peg accessories-peg boards don’t have to be boring! The dollar tree peg boards come with mounting adhesive but I just drilled them to my wall and it’s so cute and affordable. And you can do so much other different types of diy using the dollar tree peg boards for other things around the house and they are sturdy sturdy (cheaper than ikea and can personalize them) 😊

Being a single mom I'm sure is not always easy but I see you do it to the best of your ability. There are older women who don't have to worry about children that do not have it together, but you do. omg seeing she got a junie b jones book made my heart so warm. theyve been banned from american schools for a long time. they were my absolute favorite books because i was the type of kid she was written to represent. shes not autistic like me but shes adhd and dyslexic and more positive yet relatable disabled representation is so important so the ban on them makes me so angry :( pls get ziya lots of fun books because at american schools they are basically all banned. i also want to add ziyas innocence and happiness is so sweet and i love that you allow her to be a child and not worry about a damn thing! seeing how close yalls family is is very sweet. also love how easily zoe has integrated into everything. its almost like shes always been there.

This is only a suggestion, but why not get Ziya a desk with good storage and tabletop for her crafts! Her sewing machine can be on top with space beside that for doing other craft projects!

I was gonna say that you could go to Home Depot or Lowe's to get some wood cut. They can do it for you. I'm not sure if they'll assemble the piece for you though. Also, KUDOS to you for planning/throwing these parties. You're the real MVP boo ❤
