- Hey Friends, it’s been way too long since I’ve made a trip to Aldi so join me on a little shop along to see what's new in the store and restock of my pantry staples and fresh produce. Aldi is not the kind of store where I can get everything I need in one place most of the time. But I do keep a running list of items that I always stock up on there because they are so much cheaper than anywhere else for the essentials. I have been using the Aldi day cream for years now. I absolutely love it. No breakouts, no clogged pores, perfect moisture for my skin. I recommend it very highly. You know I love your grocery hauls!! I've really been missing these. Love Aldi spices and my Aldi does have Burman Chili Sauce. Maybe yours will soon. Great haul, my sweet friend. ❤️
I will always be excited when I have fruit snacks. Always. If other people are around when I realize I have fruit snacks I’ve forgotten about I get some very strange looks as I squeal with excitement over it 😂 I was so happy to see a new grocery haul from you!
I've been shopping at Aldi since the 80's and we love most everything i buy there!
I wish we had an Aldi in NW Louisiana but the closest one is over 100 miles away.
By the way, in my opinion your voice and accent is very soothing. I love watching your cooking videos but there’s something very comforting and homey about your dialect. Hey Mel, that Hallumi Cheese is Arabic & Spanish (pronounced hall-oom-ee) & there's a similar one at Sam's that's called "Spanish Cheese" in the big chunk style. It's so firm, it eats more like a meat & anyone with gut problems, start by eating just a little bc I feel like it's a bit difficult to digest. Oh, and Cheese Curds are from Wisconsin & Minnesota with all their dairy farms. That goat cheese with Cherries & Arminac is delightful on a salad with Dried Cherries, Pecans, & Poppyseed dressing. Thanks for the Aldi video. We are new Aldi fans. We live in a northeast mountain area of Georiga in a small town and Aldi just opened up and we love it. My husband and I are both retired and love the prices! The cheese section is the best at great prices!!
Love that boho chair!! Looks like you made a great haul. The nearest Aldi to me is 30 minutes away...down the mountain in Mt. Airy, N.C. If you watched Andy Griffith...that is his hometown. Lots of business and sites related to that show. You can even take a tour in Barney's police car...lol. Before Aldi came to the states...I always shopped there in Germany..Its the only Grocery we had in the village where I lived at there......I was so glad when Aldi came to my Town about 4 yrs. ago....Good German foods !!!

The cheese fries are good when you are on a low carb diet. It is also called bread cheese(it was below the hot cheeses you were looking at) it is in a solid square. I eat very low carb for my health and slice the bread cheese and fry it up with my meal. The Ghee that you showed is for people who are trying to stay away from seed oils to decrease the inflammation in there body.
I dont usually shop at Aldis, but I think you convinced me with this haul to skip the Walmart entrance and hit the Aldi store!

The nearest Aldi to me is about thirty minutes away...but I'm going as soon as I can! I've never been there before but I watch this channel and also Vivian Tries, so I keep hearing about it and liking what I'm hearing!
Oh you have to try halloumi, it’ll go great in a summer spread with some salads and dips. Just fry it up on med-hi heat in a touch of oil to get a bit of color and get them sizzling. The sweet and rich flavor complements a good zingy tomato salad so well.

I stock up on their garlic mini Naan bread packs and throw in the freezer. Pull them out to make personal pizzas in the air fryer. Family Fav
I love smoked sausage with fried potatoes. Also chili cheese smoked sausage fried on a hot dog bun. These are small like a large hot dog. I'm over 70 and I eat what I want.
Those cheese sticks and cheese curds are amazing in the air fryer.
I love the Mexican Corn flavored Aldi corn chip, especially with some mashed up avocado or cheese dip. It’s got a lot of flavor and great for taco night.
You had me cracking up in the store.
I agree with trying foods that you don’t like or think you don’t, our taste buds change as we do.

The ALDI GARLIC KNOTS ARE THE BEST BETTER THEN ANY OTHER BRAND FOR SURE 🥰
I have a very easy Orzo Pasta Salad that uses Pesto. This is my version of a salad we ate on a cruise and loved. It is customizable. My grown daughter and I like to make a big bowl and eat it for lunch. This salad lasts 3 or 4 days in the refrigerator.
ORZO PASTA SALAD
1 lb cooked orzo pasta
2 small zucchini, diced
1 small red onion
1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
1 yellow or orange bell pepper, diced
Feta or fresh Mozzarella cheese
1 jar or 1 cup of pesto
Salt and pepper to taste
Kalamata olives
OPTIONAL
Diced chicken, shrimp or cooked salmon
We add the chicken , shrimp or salmon if we want to turn the salad into a cold main dish dinner in the summer.
I make this salad all summer when we go to cookouts because it is something different and goes great with grilled food.

What a great haul, Mel! You showed a lot of things I’d like to try. I have to say, though, that when you showed that Grainger tomato, it made me smile. When my husband and I go to your area on vacation, the Grainger tomatoes we get at the grocery store are the best I’ve ever eaten. Produce stand tomatoes don’t even compare. Love them!
This week at my ALDIs in central New York, eggs were $ 1.23 a dozen! They have great gluten free foods too! Skinless and boneless chicken breasts are 2.29 a pound! It’s a great store!

I love the face cream. I use both the day and night. After years of L'Oreal and Oil of Olay, the Aldi face cream, Lacura, was a pleasure to use. I have recommended it to everyone! What's bad is now when I visit Aldi's, they usually don't have it! Is everyone I told about this wonder cream buying it up?

I’ve been stuck in bed for almost an entire year due to breaking one knee then starting rehab and breaking the other one. Unfortunately getting old and being a women post menopause and getting Osteoporosis 😮. Is no fun. One more thing women get to experience unlike men. Lol. Anyway I’ve done just about all my grocery shopping online then sending husband out to pick up the order. So I can’t tell u how long it’s been since I’ve been to aldis. Thanks for making this video. This gives me inspiration to go shop at aldis again before I hit Krogers up. The price of those cheese dips are way cheaper there then they r at Krogers. Did u like them?

Haloumi is delicious rolled in lemon &chilli then grilled, you could use everything bagel for a topping as well. It is a firm cheese,little bland but fry it and add seasoning it's yummy (crumbed too)
Hi Mel - UK subscriber to your channel - Love your grocery hauls, especially Aldi as that's my go to store for grocery shopping. It's very interesting seeing the American Aldi hauls, as the UK Aldi stores do not stock the exact items you buy/show. I also like the price tags you put on screen, so I can gauge price comparisons, keep up the good work/ videos. BTW, have watched many of your cooking videos, and taken note of the recipes/ingredients. Many of which I will be cooking upon return from a three week holiday in September to Honolulu, commencing 2 September. I very much appreciate your videos, tips, recipes, and attitude to life 👍🙏👍

The cheese is a Greek cheese which we fry for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Goes well with lamb kabobs.
