Some people seem to be commenting as if this is my first ever time reacting to Dimash. (Which makes me sad because it shows just how many people are skipping my opening/closing monologues which contain a lot of important information about me and my channel.) But for the people who think this is my first time, here’s the playlist containing all of my Dimash reactions to date. th-cam.com/play/PLaniYpoQjwKxfT5ce3jMa_AcD63ujQPbu.html&si=KS45d5NOZtfadyGh
Very relevant: igor did not know dimash until this performance. he was retired at that moment, and then after this performance, he decided to come out of retirement to compose exclusively for dimash
That tremolo ‘thing’ he did in this song is called a Caprino. It is an Italian musical term for a fast twittering vibrato in the voice, literally a 'little goat' or 'goat-like'. Igor had been in retirement. He’s an extremely well respected composer. He saw in Dimash an unusual large canvas to work on, rather than the 3-3.5 octave singers he had to confine his compositions to, here was a man with a 6.5 octave range. It gave him possibilities he hadn’t had prior.
THANK YOU! This is one of my favorite Dimash performances. I appreciate your commentary! Dimash has MANY performances, different styles, different songs. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on more of his performances! Fyi, Freddie Mercury has been one of Dimash’s primary influences.
@@sallystubbs7417 see my pinned comment, this isn’t my first time reacting to Dimash. And by no means at all my best. If you have the time, there’s a lot to get through. 😀
9:26 I swear he’s 3/4 angel 🥰 When he’s singing this part, I envision that is how the angels and Heaven sounds like. 😭😭😭👏🙌🙏 he’s quite literally the GOAT in my opinion. There is no one else in the world that sounds like him. 🤯🤯🤯
Sinful Passion is good because it showcases his various vocal abilities. ❤🎉❤ He does have absolute mastery over his vocal cords, breath, and pharynx. 👍
This starts with a voice I want to hear in the evening, putting me to sleep by telling me stories about life and magic. And it ends with a voice that I want to hear in the morning to get motivated for the day. 😂❤ It’s unbelievable how he can control every single sound he makes. 🤩
For those who like information about Dimas' songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash. Hugs from Brazil! Original Version (A’Studio): th-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/w-d-xo.html
So glad you discovered Dimash. He’s such a humble philanthropist as well. Please continue. His versatility in a variety of genres will keep you amazed and entertained. I’ve enjoyed watching your reactions thus far, and I hope to see more. Your admiration of our favorite vocalist makes us Dears extremely happy! Thanks so much!!!❤❤❤🇺🇸
Esta fue la primera vez que Igor Krutoy lo oye e inmediatamente lo busca y a pesar de haberse retirado ,se ofrece para acompañarlo y producir esa maravillosa música que juntos hicieron 😊
Wonderful great video reaction! You can go back later and listen to it with the words. It's very pretty and you can enjoy it all over again! I'm very happy for you that you didn't get a copyright strike on it. I think there's something going on at YouT. concerning his videos. But here we are and it was great❤ Thank you, have a great day!🎉
Thanks much for your reactions to and appreciation of Dimash's music and artistry 🙏🎼🙏 It doesn't matter if you have a few thousand subscribers...you are enjoying his music and, maybe, even some other people are listening to him for the first time because of your reactions 🥰💞🤩 You're right...the guy clapping at the end is Igor Krutoy. But he's not just a pianist...he is a famous Russian Ukranian composer who came out of retirement to work with Dimash after listening to him sing Sinful Passion❣ Any time you see Igor at the piano with Dimash it means he has composed that song. Their collaborations have created quite a few amazingly beautiful pieces of art 😍🔥🌹
Krutoy is actually Ukrainian and Russian. Now he spends much of his time in his grand New York City condo. He and Dimash are boycotting Russia. Dimash's mother is also Ukrainian. Most of the flowers go to hospitals and nursing homes.

Truly loved your reaction and your insight and laughter! Thank you! Believe me you make a difference when ever you react to him. Dimash fills hes conterts and has such a massive fan base that travel to see him from all over the globe. The most recent concert he did in Astana, Kassakstan people travel from 80 different countries to get to witness this beautiful artist and human being.
Of course there is no need for a translation to listen to Dimash, the sounds coming out of his mouth are always very moving, but then I don't see why it would be wrong to listen to it again with the translation. It would still be a genuine reaction from you.
@@thomaselliot2257 It wouldn’t. A genuine reaction can only be done once because you can only hear/see/watch/experience something for the first time once. And I might not have many policies on this channel, but if there’s one I do have, it’s that I’ll never react to the same thing for a second time and pretend it’s the first time. 💯
I’ve been to poland once, Krakow, on a school trip when I was about 14. Still, out of all the countries I’ve been to, poland is the only one I’d actually choose to live in. It was INCREDIBLE! The people are amazing, every single shop, restaurant or business I went into, ALL the staff spoke English, and not just enough to serve me, but to actually have a conversation with me! The food was incredible, I had polish dumplings in a restaurant and it was incredible. The underground salt mines were MIND BLOWING!!! It was like I had stepped onto a different planet! Never ever seen anything like it. And of course, Auschwitz. An experience I simply shall never forget, and haven’t been able to forget. For very different reasons of course, but still. I love Poland. ❤️🤍🇵🇱

Brilliant! Unfortunately, Dimash won’t become as famous in the West as he deserves, unless he signs to a label, which is the way the system works here. He justifiably fears losing his artistic freedom and creativity by doing so; that’s why he remains independent. Btw, Igor Krutoy is not only a pianist, but also a billionaire composer and producer, who co-founded this New Wave Festival some years ago …
