Hi Thandie, recently subscribed and have been binge watching your vids. Big fan of Stewart Lee, he sometimes likes to test his audience’s patience even if it means annoying half of them. Btw you speak perfect english , and you’re lovely to listen to.
Thandi, you're reactions are GREAT! I'm a huge Stewart Lee (and Herring) fan It's been nice to revisit them with "fresh eyes" ps You should get the Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle DVDs... Each half hour is a masterclass of finely inter-woven seemingly unconnected satire... The clips don't do him justice!
Although I never left anything and was sad, the figures showed that 10 to15 tons of bouquets and 60 million flowers were left in honour of Diana around London. Candles, stuffed animals, flags, photographs, and personal notes were also left.
It was a recurring joke in Coronation Street for a while that a character kept referring to her “Muriel” instead of her ‘mural’. :D EDIT- But your English is great!
Seems like a perfectly reasonable reaction to me :) I suppose I hope she once said in an interview she really liked ET. I thought the whole public mourning thing was ridiculous, I didn't care either way, I didn't know her after all. I didn't care when the Queen died either, except that now Charles is kind and he's a wanker
What the USA & the UK experienced, was mass hysteria, egged on by the media. I was in Spain on business when Diana's accident happened, and I just couldn't believe what I was seeing happening in the UK (well lets be honest what we were shown on the news was mostly just London). It surprised people in Europe too. Though it is true that I had never really taken to her that much, since I saw her at a Bowie concert with her then boyfriend whilst she was still married to Charles. Always thought she was just a chancer
Office World Man is a great bit, and steers away from a lot of the political stuff he can do. Of course 100% pear is his quintessential bit, but very long.

"9th of November" :D
I remember seeing the Alf doll. Not sure if it was a footage on the news or in person when I passed by but I do remember thinking wtf 😂

You could check out the Mitchell & Webb Conspiracy Theories video (includes moon landings, Princess Diana, etc) Thanks for the video :)
I think that you're about to do ASMR when you reach for the camera like that :D

Stewart Lee Brexit vs Trump please
Slightly annoying to watch when you laugh before the punchline. Try to sync the video correctly.
