If you're looking for a cheap buffet on the strip, The Buffet at Luxor is actually one of our favorites and the last time we went there it was $29 per person, which is a pretty good deal considering all the options they have. They also have no time limit and you can use your MGM Rewards card points there if you have one! They're only open until 3pm, so that'd be a great option for breakfast/lunch. For dinner, the Miracle Mile Shops next to Planet Hollywood have a lot of options and good prices for happy hour, our favorites are Blondies and La Salsa!
Those are definately some great suggestions to do outside of gambling. You showed me some places I have not seen and have now put on my bucket list.

Omega mart is a total waste of money
It's definitely pricey, but we thought it was fun for a one time experience! We don't have anything like that here in Florida.
