I have always been fascinated with "Natures Numbers", the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio. Not the same thing, but associated. 🌸
We have a collection of beautiful fossil ammonite shells. There is a split and polished one featuring quartz within, on the desk in front of me.

От выражения "серединка на половинку" веет неопределенностью, - и не то чтобы "да", и не то чтобы "нет". Это лучше, чем ничего, но и на отлично тоже не тянет. Короче, - на троечку с плюсом.

@12:57 I make a word-play-association with "seredina" and the English word "serene." Although the meaning isn't exactly the same, "finding a compromise/ a happy balance/ a situation where everyone is (reasonably) contented" sort of equates with "to be serene: harmonious/balanced/calm/tranquil/untroubled/peaceful."
It helps me to remember the Russian word.
