Every Star Trek fan has uttered these words at least once in their lives, "If only they had done one more season! " And now those prayers have been answered. You have the gratitude of millions.
My "if only" is uttered as- if only they had gotten an actor to play Kirk with a grown man's voice.

I absolutely love Star Trek Continues. What an excellent continuation of the original story. Great actors and excellent story-telling. Vic Mignogna and his team have put together a series of beautiful craftsmanship worthy of the Star Trek name. Thanks Vic!

Really a shame that CBS/Paramount are effectively shutting them down by altering the fan production rules. They should do the smart thing, pick these people up, finance them, and leave them alone creatively.
Unfortunately, even if the powers that be were to pick them up, they'd never let them do it their way (the Roddenberry way). Just look at what they said about the new series they're trying to throw out there. First thing they said they did, was throw out Mr. Roddenberry's vision of it. Without that vision... It's just not Star Trek. At all. They would have been better off naming it something else, and not have it tied to the Star Trek universe in any way. And from What I've been seeing and reading, it's appearing to have already flopped before it has even made it to the screen. That's what happens when you don't take it seriously and listen to the real fan base.
CBS\Paramount should rather have picked up this show, or let these guys make a new Star Trek show instead of wasting it on the awful and expensive garbage show Star Trek Discovery. That show has a budget of 8-8.5 million dollars per episode! That's nearly 300 times the budget of one episode of Star Trek Continues. Imagine what people like this that not only has talent, but also passion could make with that kind of money.
Star Trek Continues... As someone who grew up on the original series, and thusly Mr. Roddenberry's vision of it, words are just inadequate to describe how pleased, happy I have been to watch these episodes. I only wish you folks could keep going on with them. The costumes are great, the sets so well done, the acting deserves awards and recognition for so much work that has been so well done. The guest appearances a special added treat. And you had fun doing it too. I'll bet Gene and Majel would be very proud of everyone involved. I realize this was uploaded 3 years ago. So... Wherever each of you go in the future, God bless and best of luck to all of you. And thank you.

The series is most likely not coming back, because of the new CBS fan film guidelines and Grants unfortunate death. I only yesterday discovered that he played Sulu and am even more sad that he is gone.
Mouth drops in awe for these fan produced Star Trek shows. Serious thumbs up! So wish they'll do a; Star Trek Continues, Starship Farragut, and Starship Exeter crossover style reunion fan episode one day!
I just happened upon this AMAZING show, and could not be happier!!! You all have done such a wonderful tribute to the original series and have brought such joy to us Trekkies!!! It's like watching an episode from the 6o's. The sounds and music are PERFECT!!!

If don't see more episodes of STC, I must come to Georgia and help get things rolling. I can't help it... This is perhaps the greatest continuation of any tv show or movie there is. It's truly awesome and this entire crews deserves some awards. The neat thing is that the actors and crew are doing this for the right reasons, unlike the original series that was plagued by budget restraints, politics, and BS. This is what original Star Trek could have been!

Excellent sets, lighting, acting, directing and writing put this show on the top of Star Trek fan films.
They got everything right. Even the music.
I am 61 years old and have been a star trek fan from the very beginning. There are really no words to describe what you are doing here. This is a huge undertaking and you are doing a great job of it. Good stories, great actors, beautiful sets, and the every accurate details put is this production is simply awesome. And with today's technology you actually have better special effects than the original series had. I've enjoyed every show you've produced so far and am always looking forward to seeing the next ones. You deserve recognition for all this fantastic work. It's great to see new star trek episodes. Thank you all.
I guess you'd be 70 by now. Still watching I would suppose! I'm 64 now, so I'll see if someone responds when I'm 70. They did an incredible job. I couldn't believe when I saw the bridge again. I have seen the TOS Enterprise at the Smithsonian, but not this set and it isn't that far away.
Star Trek Continues is just an awesome production by far the best fan made I have seen (and I have seen most), I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode, I thank you all for what you have given us and am only sorry to see it will be ending shortly, it will be greatly missed.

Great show! Loved the behind the scenes! I grew up in the 60s watching the original and you guys got it right on. I agree with Richie Rich you should open up tours of the set and charge a fee. I'd pay to walk
I just discovered this show, I'm only halfway through but I'm not rushing it because it's so great and I don't want it to end, so I'm doing 2 episodes a week! The sets are great, I especially like the transporter room, many others got that rear panelling so wrong, the costumes are spot on, and the cgi is IMO an improvement on the cgi replacements on the official remastered episodes too because they match the original show's look and feel better (bright luridly coloured planets, simple mechanical looking effects and motions, neither too realistic nor too flashy) and the entire cast do a fantastic job imitating the style of the original actors. My only small criticism is often times the lights on props and sets are LEDs, it's a tiny point but they really stand out cuz they don't pulse softly on and off like the original randomly flashing bulbs they used back then, they blink in a perfect binary pattern that feels really anachronistic to me, but I'm guessing most people probably wouldn't even notice and it doesn't detract me too much from an otherwise wonderfully faithful recreation, even the direction and music is just like the original. Amazing!

What you guys are doing with STC is amazing. Forget game of thrones, the walking dead etc it's STC I can't wait until the next episode for. Keep up the great work! It's as good asthe original series........
BTW, the STC video where everyone is dancing to "Happy" is just awsome. I'm not a red head fan, but I'd marry the two in that video in a heartbeat. I've watch that vid about a 100 times so far. Cause I'm Happy, happy, happy, happy....

I am saddened by knowing this is about to end. I could watch these fan films till I am 80. I so hope CBS's Star Trek Discovery fails for what they have done to our Star Trek Continues.
Star Trek Discovery has a budget of 8-8.5 million dollars per episode, which is almost 300 times the budget of an episode of Star Trek Continues. What a waste of money! Imagine what could be produced with that kind of money in the hands of talented and passionate like this. Instead it's wasted on useless garbage like STD.

Just finished watching this series. As a Star Trek original series fan I was enormously impressed, so sad it was only 13 episodes. I now consider this another season of the original

This team nailed it. The look, the sound, the tone, the thoughtful essence. CBS should hire them and share in the profit. It would be GREAT Star Trek for fans and easy money for the intellectual property owners.
It's about being a part of something bigger- the crew works together following a captain they trust to lead fairly and inspirationally. At a star tek convention, I asked James Doohan if he would want to go to space if Star Trek were real- he said yes!
These episodes are in some ways BETTER than some of the TOS ones. Extreme attention to detail in every aspect which can't be faulted. I am so very very pleased to have found these - and seeing VM's extraordinarily good Kirk (I bet William Shatner couldn't do it as well) brings it all together. Live long and prosper, guys, you really should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. Well done and thank you.
I really congratulate those who made this series. It is a fitting continuation of several stories that aired in the original Star Trek series. I believe, like many fans of this saga, that it deserves to be continued in the near future. I wish all the actors and staff who participated in this series live long and prosper.
I may be a BIT late but I just happened across the Star Trek Continues series. I think it is great. I grew up on TOS and I think the sets, stories, and portrayal of the characters pay homage to the original . Wasn't sure how I would like it but I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. Thank You for the series.

You really see the love in ever (4:3!) frame. I guess I just think the world is a slightly better place with Star Trek in it, and this hews so closely to TOS that it's breathtaking. Great job!

I was a huge fan of the original series, and I think what this "online" series is doing, is absolutely amazing. Every aspect of it, ... just leaves me in awe. The video asks if we have questions, mine is this: "How long can we expect, (& I know it's been roughly 2 years in creating the first three episodes, and I do get the idea as to "why" that is), for future episodes to be released 'at this point'?" (No pressure here.) Thank you to all who have been a part of this, as well. Live long and DO prosper. :o)
Vic the cast and crew did such a fine job on STAR TREK CONTINUES. I really hope that the gang might consider doing a few more (perhaps under a new name that does not include words STAR TREK in the title and no STARFLEET insignia or references to get away with it legally? Just hoping! It was easy to become a "BIG FAN" of you all ... Seriously EASY!
It's hard for me to fathom how this fantastic project escaped my attention this long. Certainly not parody, not even really homage, miles beyond typical fan fiction, it really does come across like a continuation - "lost episodes" as I saw it expressed elsewhere. Side note, the portrayal of the Captain seems like 70% William Shatner and 30% Kirk Douglas - has anyone else made a similar observation? (Funny coincidence that Douglas's name would be "Kirk".) Kudos to all!
Thank goodness for Star Trek continues. I love the original Star Trek , but this is actually what is really a continuing conceptual of Star Trek. And it’s so nice to see Chris Doohan fill in his father’s shoes . Victor has a remarkable likeness to a young William Shatner even though he’s not related to him. Chris Doohan is so much a striking image of his late father!❤️

I Pray that Niclalus Mier wil make his hidden Star Trek Progect Rebirth of Star Trek Continues, this show is Star Trek to the verry soul oc Gen Ronddenberrys dream reborn like a 2nd coming, if Discovery makes a big nosedive into early casallation, the rebirth of the franchise should be with this crue
I burned all the episodes to DVD and included the original "Mirror Mirror" for reference, and gave copies to several family members. The response was pretty favorable (understatement).

Who do we write to if we want to try to get you back. This show needs to step out of the Kick Starter world and be produced by a major production company. Keep the actors, keep the writers, keep everyone here, but it needs to be put back on TV. Perhaps Netflix or something if it has to. You are all too good to NOT have come back.
Assuming that Wired is kicking in a few bucks to those guys to support them then I just want to say way to go.

Is there a possibility that the cast will do audio dramas of Star Trek Continues? Radio/audio drama is the theater of the mind, limited only by the boundaries of one’s imagination. A little boy said in the 50’s or 60’s that he liked Radio more than TV because “the pictures are better”. I can’t improve on that. 🙂

This replication of TOS far surpassed in my opinion even the reboots with Chris Pine and company, it really captured the true essence of TOS. Vic for one did Kirk so well that he is interchangeable with Shatner any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Spock was done far better than Zachary in any of the movies and Scotty with Chris Doohan was almost perfect. McCoy was done very well too in short, the series is a masterpiece and deserves its place in the Star Trek Hall of Fame. It is my sincere wish that perhaps they can regroup for a motion picture one day...I'm speechless and awestruck !!
My 2 cents is to write a story where a surviving cast member could "Skype" in a performance in front of a green screen. Maybe some sort of "subspace" transmission from the future that is a warning or a solution to a problem.
You might be surprised when one of them says yes.
PS: Johnny Depp just did most of his last movie that way.
Is there any way this series will be released on disk? I'm an avid fan but my uncle who isn't tech savvy in the slightest would absolutely go crazy for this.

Just an Excellent job, I think the episodes are going very well, the fidelity to the original series is stunning. Now that you have all that in hand, may I make a suggestion to increase fidelity and nudge you toward more viewers and awards? Take everything to the next level by developing intriguing storylines that explore difficult or fascinating issues (that may or may not be controversial) or vexing philosophical questions. The Original Series did some of this. An episode could be like great literature - you re-read it and find new concepts and linkages you missed on the first go-around.

This needs to be officially picked up. To call it a piece of work by fans would be an insult, given all of the terrible, terrible pieces of fan work out there.
Unlike all of those, this has had so much care and attention given to it and in turn, needs attention from other people for the brilliant creation that it is.

the reason they stopped in 2017 was the one that CBS changed their fanfilm rules. They no longer can legally produce these things. f**k Cbs
