The look of one-true-morty, he's holding his hands in a position similar to depictions of buddha. But he's got a mohawk, 6-pack abs, and a cyborg arm. He's literally just a childish fantasy, an exaggerated version of what a 13-year-old boy wants to be.
But there's another option: He's a Morty from outside the Central Finite Curve. Before the Citadel sealed off the CFC, Ricks could jump around to universes which didn't have Ricks who were ultra-smart. It's possible the OTM is from a universe where Rick dedicated himself to helping his family and elevated Morty to a perfected form.

It sounds like the one true morty’s godhood comes from domain rather than some other form like a magic pill or celestial power.
Basically, all the mortys from various dimensions collectively believed hard enough that he was raised to a divine level with dominion over mortys. The idea being that the god’s power is directly tied to the belief of their followers. What the god can and can’t do relies entirely on what the followers actively believe he can do, and if they all stop believing he stops having power. So the head priest morty encountered “the one true morty” and created a religion about him, then after spreading it to enough mortys who all collectively believe hard enough “the one true morty” was empowered and rose to a god-like status actually becoming the one true morty.
There are a few anime that have a similar idea, in which a god only has power so long as they are remembered by their worshipers and given that power. There’s also a race of fish people in D&D which have the ability to turn anything they believe in into a god (one example in the lore is a lighthouse that was given sentience and limbs by pure belief). And many people know about Orks in warhammer lore being incredible psychics without realizing it, and the king of a human empire is immortal only because the orks still think he’s alive.

I still think one true morty is morty prime since they both have robotic features. Morty prime has wires dangling out his eyes with eyepatch and I think he'll become the one true morty in the future and make the morty religion to make the other mortys away from all ricks to probably counter the power source of the one true rick if there's any. Idk its just my imagination 😅

The one true Morty is also from the same place the one true Rick in the same universe but the rick of his probably wants all the power for himself so that's why he's got the metal arm trying to stop him so the one true Morty comes to the Morty prime universe to get help because he can't take rick on alone or at least thats what I would like to see

When I see a godlike being with a missing body part, I think of the Odin archetype who gave up his eye for wisdom. It's symbolic of someone sacrificing something representing their life in this world to achieve a higher state of being. Now why would a Morty's worldly ties be symbolized by his left ha- oh, I think I get it.

The one true Morty is obviously a play on Anakin/Luke Skywalker after he lost his arm to a lightsaber. It's supposed to be a coin flip toss on the side chosen in the end, but the purpose of the character remains the same. If Evil Morty is Anakin, then that makes One True Morty Luke so to speak

8:10 i think you can compare it to jerry being the christian god who is all powerful, and morty as budda, that the design difference. 10:50 well since his religion is be free from ricks maybe he lost it against his rick, or it was before he achieved godhood and rick replaced it instead of growing it back, when rick is then even alive at the point he lost his arm. Rick sent the one true morty home before he dies.
I'd argue the opposite. The One True Morty's hand sign is the same sign used in christian iconography, especially of the apostolic (Catholic/Orthodox) variety. Additionally, many buddhist sects preach that existence is suffering, similar to Jerry's view of being a Jerry. The One True Morty's afterlife is more similar to a description of the abrahamic "Heaven" than the buddhist "Nirvana" too.

Well obviously the story of rick and morty is time travel. 1. The characters are based on doc brown and marty mcfly which are known for time travel. 2. The writers keep hitting you in the face all the time with the box marked “time travel stuff”. 3. Rick makes up some bs that “he doesnt respect time travel” as to why he never does it. Connect the dots and you can obviously see that rick can both catch rick prime and save his family using time travel but he refuses to do it because it would mean everything he has done since the day his wife and kid died is meaningless. But the longer he waits, the more insane the multiverse gets. The emergence of a One True Morty could make things so insane that he relents and invents time travel and wipes out everything that happened in the show.

Personally I think it’s all just propaganda cooked up by evil Morty to gaslight his counterparts in order to torture them further with false hope, because if he hates anything more than Rick it’s the versions of himself that are loyal to Rick. Just as Morty’s original Rick is Rick Prime (he should totally transform into a truck with a name like that) so too is Evil Morty the one true Morty.

I like to think that maybe the One True Morty's Rick is like the devil or "anti-christ" counterpart to TOTM, forming an inverse to the story of christianity. Instead of the devil figure being a rebel of the god figure, the god figure is a rebel of the devil figure.

interesting, the similarities between the one true Mortyism and the birth of Christianity is uncanny the symbolism of the trinity in the Morty hand gesture to his golden glowing appearance.
