@@MrBoomxl yeah, I'd say that Crash 4 difficulty is a bit overrated as the game becomes a little easier once you master triple spins and masks powers, probably from 9/10 to 7/10. Of course some nsanely perfect relics will make you lose your mind, but they are mostly annoying rather than difficult (you know crash games, you can die anywhere). Platinum relics are quite forgiving, they are a middle ground between gold and platinum in crash 1

If we ever get another mainline Crash game they should do more of Flashback tapes but have them focus on other characters like Ripper Roo, Tiny, Pinstripe, Dingodile, Komodo Brothers, Koala Kong and perhaps Rilla Roo
3:51 to be fair N.Tropy's name is a massive clue that he's interested in time travel as it's a play on the word "Entropy" which is something I don't fully understand as it's a rather deep physics based thing but I know it relates to time in some fashion.
Entropy refers to the idea that the longer a stable thing exists, it gradually becomes more and more unstable with time. Pretty smart how Naughty Dog tied N. Tropy back to the motif of insane characters in this series.
The hope the part where cortex thinks about crocodiles and dingos was just a throwaway joke and not them hinting cortex creating dingodile. I like the idea that Cortex stole Tiny Tiger and Dingodile from N.Brio before the events of Crash 3 because he didn't have the evolve-o-ray and the cortex vortex anymore.
Cortex not being able to decide between dingoes or crocodiles is 100% a reference to Dingodile, since he's literally a combination between the 2. Suggesting that Cortex couldn't make up his mind and decided to combine the two.

The coincidence of him naming dingoes and crocodiles in 1 sentence and having a character that's a combination of the two is so small, there's no way it's not a reference to Dingodile.
Then again wrath of cortrex also says cortex is his creator. But i feel it makes more since as to why Dingodile left with no hard feelings. In twinsanity he attacks cortex, The Pal manual of Crash Nash states he is one of Nitrus's mutants, refering to Brio. It's pretty inconsistent. Yet again crash 4 retcons those games anyways and messes with the Crash 1 backstory too.
you all wanna know the true origins of the nitro squad and who created them in game, I'll tell you, I figured out on flashback tape number 6 where N. Brio was running Cortex's experiment with Crash, he said these words "ahem! Testing, testing! Hello, feeble subject! It is I, Dr. Nitrus Brio! Your Future Master! Muahahaha! Oh that's it... muahahaha! Yes, you will make a worthy ally! Say nothing of our plan!" so what I discovered is that it was N. Brio himself who created Isabella, Ami, Liz and Megumi in secret because he didn't want Cortex to know what Brio was planning so he was gonna use Crash to turn on Cortex and the exact time and date was at 5:33pm on Tuesday April 2, 1996. as for the true origins of Crash, Coco and Tawna we know that Cortex created them too meaning crash and tawna were created on new years eve 1995 and coco was created when crash escaped on september 9th in game's storyline so this means that the nitro squad are canon from the past (CTR crash team racing 1999) and right now this year so I made those discoveries myself for 28 years for the origins of crash, coco and tawna in 1996 and 25 years in 1999.
5:12 wait a minute...did Toys for Bob just sneak in a Jak reference? I know it's a long shot but Daxter complained a lot about his missing trousers throughout Jak II and 3. It could just be a coincidence but if that's the case it's an interesting one.

That Sonic reference was easily my favorite part of these Flashback Tapes! I always make it a goal to not die or move once that dialogue plays. But other than that, I do appreciate all the extra lore these levels gave us. The more lore, the better! :)
I'm still hoping that N-Trance is a prominent villain in the next mainline platformer in the series, and does something different from in N-Tranced on GBA. N-Tropy was kinda disappointingly similar to his role in Crash 3 in It's About Time, with the only big difference being that now there's two of them. N-Tranced has a lot of potential though, such as for example he could brainwash Cortex's forces against him and Uka Uka could turncoat on Cortex as well due to Cortex's constant failures, forcing Cortex to beg Crash and friends to stop them without telling them that his real intentions are still world domination, or something like that. I'd imagine the writers would probably come up with something way better, but you probably get the idea.

Personally, I'm of the belief that Coco's flashback tapes happened during Crash 1 where she was able to reunite with Crash before he faced Cortex atop the airship and after beating him, Coco was the one to pilot it. Also as far as the timeline goes (regarding the mainline games), I believe it split into a multiverse due to the events of Crash 3. Timeline 1 (Mainstream/Prime): Crash 1, Crash 2, Crash 3 & Crash 4. Timeline 2: Crash TWoC & Crash Twinsanity. Timeline 3: Crash OTT & Crash MOM.

I don't remember anything else because I sometimes sleep late, why, I don't know.
That's it and you do make a valid point, we're in a new timeline with Crash Bandicoot and Cortex, N.Brio and N.Gin had a hand in training Crash and Coco, and The clothes Crash and Coco are Cortex and N.Brios that was handed down to them, Vivi, You're a genius.
I sincerely want they keep the tapes as part of the continuity, maybe expand over it. In special the bits between Crash and Cortex.
