Great to get my bearings. Dominoes pizza, was previously owned by the Landry family. There was the Tumble in Bar. Frequented by all branches of our military. They lived in a house behind the bar, and ran a fireworks stand located in a metal building, the back facing the Bayou. Mr. Landry dabbled in many money making geandras. Had to, he had many, lots of kids. Actually we called it Bayou Barriare' canal. I recall fishing in a pirouge with 2 neighbor boys. The little inlet off to the left before the bridge called back entrance, a little ways in the small inlet, a fence runs top of the land. We crossed many times and walked over the runaways, hunting rabbits. Thanks M. Hood for the memories.
@@MHoodFishing I'm thinking this is somewhere in florida and so you are obviously a southern man. How in the fck are you able to use those two sticks as eating utensils? They're called chopsticks.
I like to fish for bullheads the same way people specimen fish in the uk. I go to this neighborhood I used to live in that has a very old pond in it. Fish bolt rigs with small junks of cut shiner. I’ve caught some pretty big bullheads. Some of them being a tad over three pounds.
you need to change the light at the kitchen. it is on 50Hz but your camera is shooting at 60fps. thats why all the jittering happen when you shoot in the kitchen. love your content. keep it up bud

I appreciate that you take the time to enjoy your meal with chop sticks.... been eating with them for over 40 years. My family still think it is strange that I eat "SOUP" with chop sticks.... Fact is...it is not soup...they are Korean dishes. This includes Raman noodles. FYI: when preparing Raman noodles ad your shrimp, fish and or other meat bring to a boil and add an egg or two....stir and let simmer before pouring over a bowl of rice.
Howdy Mark. Nice job on the Cichld. Always like your Catch n Cook. I'll catch you next time. No fishing for me this past week. Maybe next Thursday. Getting into the Hot Days, you know what I mean.
El vídeo está excelente ,pero leyendo los comentarios no puedo creer que el pueblo de los Estados fundidos de norte América sea tan ignorantes o con muy poca cultura al expresarse ,la verdad es preocupante
This man is a true Asian Chife love it
Funny thing is that Texas cichlid cost around 50-100$ as a pet up here in the northeast.
He made a couple dollar dish with it.
If I catch one, who can I sell it to ?
Or where can I post it for sale ?
I think you want that boat ha your amazed by it an it keeps following you

I appreciate how you described the area.
Good motley bait
Those mosquitoes will get u at sunset they like the ankles the wrist and the neck also sometimes the cheeks on your face. 😉

Thanks for sharing. Stay Safe.
Yeah you right.
You do a good job with your videos.
Looks good but I don't like cabbage
You ever fish for redfish? Like your videos always enjoy seeing nice catches even if it’s dinks
I like the honest ending
You are the first person Ive ever seen start at the tail to start filleting a fish. lol whatever works. tightlines
I start towards head to tail stop just before end an flip it an cut the meat off skin
@@southernslipping4225 me 2.
I do that. Of course, I'm the only one I know that does it.

Where would you suggest to be the best place to fish for cichlids?
In any freshwater. Same as big ole bluegills 🐠
Wasabi is the only condiment I know of that will put BALLS on Your Hairs....... my wife feeds it to me in my coffee.
Get some baitrunner reels it will help
I never caught jack squat behind the NAS. Massive wild pigs there though.
the plants looked like stinging nettles
Take the bullhead to the river and use it for flathead bait! Just an idea.
Hey! Dude that is a Rio Grande cichlid aka Texas Cichlid be careful they do grow teeth
Nice video 📹👍I'm from Brownsville Texas I do only salt water fishing 🎣 do you fish salt water cause I'm new to your channel
damn..
looks great.! 👍
Only texas
Why did you do that that's a texas chichlid
That’s a mud cat not a Bull head
You know blue gill is illegal to use for bait has to be a regular pond perch
No they are not illegal to use. They can’t be caught with a cast net to be used for bait
Think I’d just got me a fork for that lol chop sticks don’t work good on rice
You have to stop it with these aquarium fish cutting skills or else the police will put you in jail!!!!!
That made me really hungry! 😬😬
