Thank you Bill for mentioning victims and what they need. I’ve been in some form of ministry for 53 years and my observation is that bringing justice within the body of Christ is so challenging that it is seldom fully accomplished. The God born unity and brotherhood between believers is precious to me personally beyond words. We are taught, and I believe that we are to go out of our way to maintain peace and friendship with our siblings in Christ. With that thought in mind I am saddened to say that my firsthand, repeated experience is that there are Monsters among us that do not deserve the hand of friendship and inclusion. By Monsters I mean predators…leaders using others for their own advancement and personal gratification. I had to witness this repeatedly before I would be able to say Predators deserve to be put out of the camp of ministry. There is a lack of discernment in the body to be able to identify and call out Predators. I myself was deceived by all the good I saw only to discover later a mind boggling list of abuses and crimes behind those good works. This has happened more than once in my life…I feel there is something greatly out of balance in the church today. Perhaps the church is unconsciously following the Great American Dream MORE than the footsteps of Christ? In any case there is a purification going on in the church that will continue. Lord help me on my journey of sanctification, help us all. So brothers and sisters let’s remain loving and forgiving but increasingly wise about wolves and predators. By their nature they have the skill to convincingly wear sheep’s clothing while devouring the sheep.
What wonderful words of life shared in this message. Christ came to set free both the abused and the abuser. He died for all. His ways are perfect. Clinging to His way.
A broken bone has been healed and my hip is now pain free. Giving God the glory for the healing He has given through His healing word which has become flesh. I will be praying for you to learn assertive, not aggressive, ways to communicate. You are a Child of God, and even those who are not deserve better. I understand.
Prayed for you. When that happened to me God reminded me to ask,knock, seek. The spirit was telling me that I could speak out to get what I want. In your case, what you want is fairness, peace, jistice...May God strengthen you to ask, knock, seek. Praying for you
Can I get some advice? A colleague did lots of racist talk and comments. I confronted him but he kept going. Our boss is covering him so another colleague and I went to higher level of authority and now it's a big process. I felt that this is right and important but there isn't specifically someone I'm defending. I just want to know is it that it's just accusing him or is it bringing justice?
From what you’ve shared you’re doing the right thing. My advice; Proceed prayerfully with love for all involved including the offender….”Speak the truth in love…” Ephesians 4:15. It’s people like you who raise a standard for justice behind closed doors. Be strong and Thank you, may the Lord continue to guide you.
