The wire jigs are meant for use with dead soft wire. You can then harden the wire by hammering it or squeezing it between nylon jaw pliers, but a harder wire would not work as well with the jig.

The super pegs are simply a way to expand what you can do with the Wig Jig. There are endless possibilities for what you can make. Some examples of use would be creating earring components or connector links for a bracelet. The super pegs are just a way to include larger circles in your designs.
