How adorable!! Love this kit. This is fabulous for all of us who don't have fancy saws to cut the circle of wood or cut the batting. Just love the entire Tuffet and the kit is wonderful. Thank you! Thank you! Great fabric choice Mark!! Gonna hunt for the fabric link now!!!
The ideas are endless for this ottoman whether you sew or not. I do sew but, the idea of not having to sew is even better. Thanks for sharing. Love, love, love your projects!!! 😊
My heavens, Mark! You are so darn creative. You make everything look so doable. Even I have been able to successfully try your projects. You boost my confidence. Kudos to you!
If you have the skills and patience to put this project together, you have the potential to sew. Don't let it intimidate you. If not having a sewing machine is an obstacle or if you just find the machines are too finicky, you can do a LOT with just hand sewing. A simple whip-stitch is all you need, in most cases, when it comes to crafty types of projects. Obviously, you don't need it with this cute project, but it might come in handy with other projects. Most of sewing is measuring and patterns, like in this video. Think of the stitches, like you think of screws, staples, rivets, or glue. They're just for tieing two or more materials together, be they wood, cloth, or whatever. Good luck with your crafty adventures!
It is real fun hobby to have if you give it a try. I've been learning from TH-cam videos. It only took me a few weeks to get to the point of making my own shorts. (They don't look good, and I made TONS of mistakes but they're functional) Since then I've been doing tons of little things in my free time. Here's a good tutorial for basic hand stitches: th-cam.com/video/1FknfumFPX8/w-d-xo.html Here's a step by step tutorial for operating a sewing machine (though new ones have their own instruction manual usually): th-cam.com/video/rXmnb4AALXg/w-d-xo.html And here's a tutorial for a basic drawstring bag (It's a good first project. I made some for Christmas gift bags!): th-cam.com/video/RP1YwXwcmrQ/w-d-xo.html&t I hope you give it a try!
This is yet another gorgeous project. I'm going to call you Marrakesh Mark Montano because the fabric used reminds me so much of Morrocco. Beautiful!!!
Mark, this project looks incredibly advanced for me, as I'm not great with drills. However, I totally admire your techniques and especially your design choices.
Mark, I saw a video on making foam rocks for a wall. I was just wondering if you, being so creative, had other uses besides rocks & plugging the pesky drafts. I look forward to next week's video!
Sure, proper tool make the job easy. I have the same creative mind to create stuff out of scratch . Still I appreciate your efforts in this field. Its fun and relaxing.
Another fantastic creation, although, I'm not a fan of boxed kits (food, crafts, etc.) - I believe they're overpriced. However, they are a fun way of introducing a craft, food dish, or hobby that may not otherwise be explored. This ottoman is a perfect example of an easy way to introduce someone to the art of footstools. Thanks for sharing Mark! Always a pleasure watching your videos and learning your techniques.
Did Miss Tuffet sit on a tuffet as cute as this one? Probably not! What a festive foot rest! This is a cute project that would probably go with your wonderful wild embroidered fabric chair from a few months ago! Hope you got to put your feet up after doing this project! Have a great weekend! Best regards, Dianna PS. I would probably paint the tuffet feet the "periwinkle" lavender background fabric color, or the deep pink -- being partial to those colors!
Me,too Ms.Tammy....I love crazy looking chairs and the N Boho look is perfect for that. I love refurbishing old things. As of right now I'm in the mist of a 'ugly and I mean ugly kitchen redo'. The first time I saw this kitchen this was the look on my face😱💀. Wish I knew how to post a picture here. Because it was horrible. It was that old western looking wallpaper.😖😂😂
Me da mucha alegría, ver tu mensaje, siempre veo tus proyectos, y todos son excelentes, los cole tela ect.. Todo, el vitral que hiciste me dejo loca eres lo máximo, Dios te bendiga
this is so cool. I don't have any comfortable furniture and I am very overweight. I have tried using stools but they hurt. This will be so soft and yet supportive. Thank you Lovingly Lynne
Oh Mark, I've been watching you create some beautiful items and enjoyed the step by step instructions, but this is in a completely different league. This really is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G. It's made my heart sing and I'm so inspired I've just scoured EBay UK and managed to order the exact one you used. I'm going to try my very best to recreate the one you made today. Thank You so much for continuing to inspire me and with each video, you lift my spirits (I suffer badly with depression and anxiety) even more. Thank You.xxx 🤗😊🤗
I'm so happy you were able to find the exact fabric. Have fun and know you're not alone with the depression and anxiety. It plagues me, too. Creativity does help. Make sure to keep in touch, OK!
I absolutely love your Moroccan ideas! My husband is Moroccan and I'm re-decorating my home one room at a time to reflect all the wonderful shapes and colors of the Islamic land of Morocco. Are you Moroccan? What made you fall in love with this style? I'd love to see you create carved plaster that Moroccans have around their ceilings or around the border of a room. I've been thinking maybe it could be done with cardboard. Any ideas?
Wow, that takes a true talent that I definitely don't have. I'm sure there are molds out that that could be filled with plaster and perhaps something like that could work?
Hi there, I was wondering how much fabric you used for this project? It appears that most places say one yard but I wanted to make sure before I buy anything. Thanks!
Mark, I love this! Once again, I am taking stuff out of my donate box to upcycle, lol. I'll tweet you tomorrow when I can take a photo in daylight of my intended DIY. Thanks!
Im so glad to have found your channel, I'm especially enjoying your bohemian pieces as that is how im decorating my home. Everything in the shops is either to exspensive or is cheap but plain and stark.....or white & grey or rose gold, not my thing. Tfs 🌹

Love it. I'm going bohemian. TRIED of beige!!! Love the fabric. Thanks. I'll see you in a year or two, after I get all these projects do. (just kidding). Love 'ya. E.
Oh I forgot about this one! I may start with this project first before trying the ottoman one that you made with wood. I want to fix up my house kind of Morrocan. My house is not decorated at all. I have no vision. Its hard for me to visualize a room decorated. But this ottoman would be a great place to start!
I love it and your site! Please do more 'no sew' projects. Does fabric glue hold up to outdoor cushions? What about the washing machine? Can it be used to make clothing? Thanx and again...I LOVE YOUR SITE!!!!
YES!!! This is beautiful! That trick with the card circle to create that round hem was brilliant, they're so difficult to manage by eye! Do you have creative and beautiful solutions for fabric storage or craft room storage in general?

How adorable!! Love this kit. This is fabulous for all of us who don't have fancy saws to cut the circle of wood or cut the batting. Just love the entire Tuffet and the kit is wonderful. Thank you! Thank you! Great fabric choice Mark!! Gonna hunt for the fabric link now!!!
This kit is perfect for the first timer! You will need to get the legs and fabric, but other than that, it's all there.
The ideas are endless for this ottoman whether you sew or not. I do sew but, the idea of not having to sew is even better. Thanks for sharing. Love, love, love your projects!!! 😊
I love that this was no sew. So much more accessible to everyone.
I love everything about this! The colors, patterns you use are remarkable and so happy.
Thank you S D! This is still in my living room!
I love the technique for bending the fabric with the paper stencil at the bom before glueing it
That's my special trick. Makes things look so neat!
Seriously, that is so cute! And it's no-sew!! Some of us are sewing challenged so thank you!
I hear you! I'm all for helping out the sewing challenged!
Hi mark that ottoman is really beautiful, and I love the colors in the fabric that were used, its really lovely thankyou
Glad you like it Angela. The kit really helped a lot.
My heavens, Mark! You are so darn creative. You make everything look so doable. Even I have been able to successfully try your projects. You boost my confidence. Kudos to you!

I’m loving the ottoman! And that BLUE furniture!! My lawdie I need that in my living room!!!!!
I'm ready for a change....Come get it! :)
This is yet another gorgeous project. I'm going to call you Marrakesh Mark Montano because the fabric used reminds me so much of Morrocco. Beautiful!!!
One of my favorite projects!
This is terrific and I love the fabric you used.
We mentioned you on your FB live today......Did you catch it?
Just precious! The fabric is fabulous! Must make!
I order that stuff all the time from Ebay! Not every expensive at all. This piece was less than 18 bucks.
No-sew projects are one of life’s greatest gifts😊
They really are! Though, I do love to sew very much, too.
Mark, this project looks incredibly advanced for me, as I'm not great with drills. However, I totally admire your techniques and especially your design choices.
The drill is easy to master Amanda! Grab one and start making holes in a piece of scrap wood. You'll get it in no time. Promise!
That fabric is INSANE! I need two of these *gets over to Fairfield website post-haste*
You know it! Links to the fabric are in the description. It's not expensive at all.
what great tutes you do - no time wasted - brilliant - thank you
I try to keep it simple and precise. So many videos drive me nuts with incessant talking and useless information.
Little Miss Muffet would love your version. The fabric is so vibrant. Thanks. Pat S
Little Miss Muffet is going to be sitting on the floor. This is MINE! :)
Wish there was a love button here. Amazing and simple. My kind of DIY!
Nice of you to say!
What a beautiful and easy project! Thanks for the inspiration and links to all the supplies. You're so creative, clever, and kind, Mark!
Morning LA! FB Live at noon today! Hope you join us!
Would you consider making a video on expandable foam projects?
I'll have to look that up Debi.
Mark, I saw a video on making foam rocks for a wall. I was just wondering if you, being so creative, had other uses besides rocks & plugging the pesky drafts. I look forward to next week's video!
Stunning, absolutely gorgeous
Thanks so much Rose! So happy you like this little tuffet!
Great, you create beautiful ottoman with in no time.
The kit makes it so easy!
This ottoman is a perfect example of an easy way to introduce someone to the art of footstools. Thanks for sharing Mark! Always a pleasure watching your videos and learning your techniques.
I'm not usually a fan of kits either, but this saved tons of time and also allowed me just focus on the design. Great to see you Anthonia!
Love it Mark! What a beautiful cover you found!
Hey Sandra...This is still in my living room and I LOVE it! Thanks for the comment!
You are so creative. I love all the bright pretty colors you use.!!!
Thanks so much!
Mate good job. Out of all the poufs and foot stools this looks like the easiet one and with very little equipment. Thanks for sharing👍
Glad you like it Caren! I still have (and use) this pouf!
I love this. Beautiful and simple. I'm so jealous of your eye for mixing patterns. Simply divine.
I just go crazy and then edit. It's always an experiment!
Best regards,
Dianna
PS. I would probably paint the tuffet feet the "periwinkle" lavender background fabric color, or the deep pink -- being partial to those colors!
You know it! It's going on my patio!
This was awesome! Thank you so much for that trick of ironing the circle with poster board! That is definitely getting filed away in my brain!
It's the best way to make it perfect!

Wow you the coolest stuff Mike. Thank you for sharing your secrets and your video.
My pleasure Maria!
That is gorgeous. Where do you find such beautiful scarf. I want to buy the tuffett. I love the material.
Hi Janice, I got the embroidered fabric on Ebay. Search for Indian embroidered tablecloth or bedspread and you should have tons to choose from.
Thank you, I got so excited, that little will brighten lots of areas. I have scarfs that are similar. I’ve got to make one. I love your DIYs.
I absolutely love a pretty ottoman!
So nice to see you Kim!

That's awesome, and super easy:)kindly send the link for the fabric and those cute round stands. Thanks
It's always so great to hear from you!
Hi there, I was wondering how much fabric you used for this project? It appears that most places say one yard but I wanted to make sure before I buy anything. Thanks!
I added some to my embroidered piece because it was a bit smaller than what I needed. I think 1 1/2 yards would easily work for this project.
this is a very beautiful projekt, like all what you do, Mark! Please can you tell me, where I can buy such wonderful fabric?
Hi Irmi! All of the links are in the description of the video.
You always share with us the coolest projects! Bright and colorful, funky and quirky! I love it! 💖

We have more coming up!
So Soho Glamorous, love the covering at the bottom. What can I say Mark. You did it again.
I love that the bottom is covered. It would have bothered me if it wasn't. Even if you couldn't see it.
ADORABLE!!! You have outdone yourself Mark🌸🌸
Not sure how long I can keep it up Melody!
You always make the cutest stuff!!!

Go boho Elizabeth! You'll never look back.
Where did you get the perfect foam piece? I want to purchase various shapes and depths.
From Fairfield. There is a link in the description.
So funky! Love it!
Thanks Michelle!
Amazing Mark! I LOVE the tuffet kit! What a genius idea!! And honestly, I don't use E6000 products NEARLY enough!!
Those E-6000 products make my life super easy.
I've only used E-6000 glue clearly I need to seek out other products they make!
Oh I forgot about this one! I may start with this project first before trying the ottoman one that you made with wood. I want to fix up my house kind of Morrocan. My house is not decorated at all. I have no vision. Its hard for me to visualize a room decorated. But this ottoman would be a great place to start!
Start with a nice color on the wall and go from there!
Beautiful Mark
Thanks SS!
I loved it! So adorable
Thanks so much Loana!
That's beautiful, Mark!
Glad you like it TRL!
Little miss Muffet sat on a tuffet, now I know what one is. That's actually gorgeous
Morning Diana!
What did you use for the big round center piece? Is that Styrofoam?
It's upholstery foam. You can cut several circles with a foam cutter OR an electric knife. Both work well.
absolutely love it. specially I Iive in such a small space and have no room for all the sewing essentials, this is awesome♡
Hi Brandy! Great to see you here!
Wow it's really great will make soon for my apartment btw which foam u used tell me the thickness of that foam
You can use any thickness, but this one was about 8". It's not in my computer room right now.
I love it and your site! Please do more 'no sew' projects. Does fabric glue hold up to outdoor cushions? What about the washing machine? Can it be used to make clothing? Thanx and again...I LOVE YOUR SITE!!!!
Yup, the fabric glue is amazing. I use it all the time.
Mark, thank you for answering my questions😁 Now to purchase a BIG tube!! I've got front porch furniture cushions to make!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!!!!
Me, too! It's still in my living room!
YES!!! This is beautiful! That trick with the card circle to create that round hem was brilliant, they're so difficult to manage by eye! Do you have creative and beautiful solutions for fabric storage or craft room storage in general?
That's the best way to iron a perfect circle. Shhh........Keep it between us, OK.
This is so pretty!
Glad you like it Jessica!
I loved this project! Beautiful fabric
