Slick Rick was an 80’s rapper that made a song called La-Di-Da-Di first… Snoop, remade it and was shouting him out. - Awesome job on the reaction tho!!!
Grinding out these videos! Much respect! Luke was in the group 2 live Crew from Miami that had beef with Dre and Death Row back in the day. Slick Rick is a Hip Hop OG. The grandfather of storytelling rap, and he originally did the song La-Di-Da-Di with Doug E. Fresh (doing the beatbox) as part of The Get Fresh Crew. Snoop's version is a cover of the original.
You should react to the Above The Rim Soundtrack, hands down the GOAT soundtrack! Snoop, Dogg Pound, Tupac, Warren G and Nate Dogg are all on there. I know you probably got a million requests, but this is a change up and you’ll enjoy yourself! 💯
Slick Rick is a british rapper from the 80s that made the OG La-di Da-di. He the only rapper I can fully tolerate with an accent because he was so hard lol
Luke is Uncle Luke from 2 Live Crew. He had beef with Dre, and this what Snoop dissing, not literally talking about smashing 😂😂😂 It was the 90s, “pause” wasn’t a thing, we didn’t assume ppl was gay back then, lolbs
A lot of rappers said they were approached by label executives that owned prisons and were offered a stake in them to make violent songs. Now when I go back and listen to these songs from my childhood as an adult. I believe it's true. Why make a song saying I'm serial killer? I question the whole gangster period in rap. I'm glad Kanye came through and deaded this gangster stuff with real life rap.
And mine beat my ass. For bringing this home at age 12. Thanks uncle Dan. This is a top 10 most influential hip hop album ever in my opinion. Whole album bangs.
He was dissing uncle Luke from the 2LiVE CREW. a lot of Bars will go over your head .. you wasn’t born to understand what was going on so it will take some research to understand

You don’t understand the concept of the intro which is probably due to your age and musical experience, meaning it’s rare that concept albums are made these days.. he was referring to himself as a DOG .. it wasn’t meant to be taken literally…
Our era failed our kids, when it comes to letting them hear and understand the music before them. I guess this is why this is the worst era of music ever.
I feel like the quality of the music sounds better the earbuds caught it better versus my phone recording a speaker been doing this for a good year and a half your the only person who actually feel a way about it but 1 day I’ll take em out for you
@@pwtv339 idk how you know I'm the only person but okay brother 😂 i just feel like it takes away from the experience of fully listening and enjoying the song, since they partly block your hearing

And he doing a paying tribute. Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh are a legendary group from the eighty's and ninety's.
