I built this one yesterday. It was a challenging build due to the dark gray and black pieces. I got a few mixed up and had to pull it apart a handful of times. It's all worth it when finished. One of my favorite planes and it looks almost model quality when finished.
Why does brrrrrrt in black looks cooler than my grey A-10 😭

The landing gear is actually not supposed to fully retract into the aircraft, in order to allow it to land safely if the gear can't deploy.
It does look odd on the model but it's a good example of COBI doing their research.
The frontal landing gear is supposed to retract fully not the rear though

Finde die graue irgendwie cooler. Die sieht für mich nach einem Bestandteil der Streitkräfte aus. Die schwarze eher nach Flugshow/Messe🤷♂️
Sehe ich auch so . Deshalb habe ich auch die graue f18 gekauft . Maverick oder die mit der Flagge auf dem Heck sehen für mich zu sehr nach Flugshow aus . Dies hier ist ja auch ein Sondermodell, laut Aufdruck auf dem Triebwerk .
Meine Meinung. Deswegen bleib ich bei meiner grauen. Wenn man vielleicht die Unterseite der Nase geändert hätte, wäre es ein zusätzliches Kaufargument gewesen. Aber das sieht genauso bescheiden aus wie beim Vorgänger
Has COBI’s quality control gotten better recently? A year ago I remembered missing parts being common

It would be nice for cobi to remake older sets like both Patton model tanks the m3 lee and some new vehicles like the M2/3 Bradley ifv. A humvee and other military trucks and the t-72 and t-80 to fight some of the other tanks
T-72 and other modern Russian tanks would be 🔥.

Are the wings locked into place? It didn't look like they moved at those hinge points when you turned the plane upside-down, but I can't tell.
At 4:20 , you can see 3 plates with bars get placed over the wings hinges. Those bars hold the planes wings in place.
@@R3LOADlikesgames they don’t hold the wings in place. It’s also on the gray a 10 but if you turn it over the wings still fold in like a corsair.

There's only one problem with the set and it was with the old one as well, the gun on the underside looks absolutely awful because it sticks out of the fuselage. Like seriously COBI you forgot to fix the one problem at the old a 10 had.
Fix it urself then. Its only limited by your imagination
