I am just a little 500 player, but after you played bishop to d2, you played queen c1, but instead of that maybe bishop to g4 and after that rook b1 to sacrifice the rook and get the checkmate? Does that work?

At 9:10 you had a beautiful sequence with Bh4+ and Rf8# if he blocks with the rook or Qc7# if he blocks with the knight. Blocking with the queen is the only move that doesnt lose on the spot but then you're up a queen for a bishop.
