It was nothing but blood, sweat and many tears 😭 and losing hope in 2 long time friends. Rebuilding a salvage car is not for the weak! This car was worth the build!!! Sounds and looks amazing. I would say this is my favourite build due to the fact there were some setbacks, but with persistence, look what you have accomplished. Me and my brother have started our journey on buying from co part so having an OBD will defo help us immensely with diagnosing. Watching your videos has given us the motivation to reach levels you have, keep up the hard work Dee 💪🏿 🙌🏿👌🏿

As for the OBD scanner that would help me diagnose faults on my vehicle and also my families and friends vehicles because dealers charge a minimum of 1 hour labour just to read codes.

Hi Dee, i have a career way out of the motor industry (in the science research area) but my love for cars and from watching your videos has recently started making me buying cars that have some issues to fix up and then try sell on (break even for me is ok as it’s a passion not my bread winner). So far I have sold 2! But I don’t have an obd reader other than a basic eBay one. For example I just bought a bmw 5 series which has to headlight issues, but I run to a friends garage and embarrassingly use their diagnostics each time I fix something to check if it’s solve it. Before that had a Mercedes a class which I fixed and saved from salvage, again this time I had to used my local mechanics for their scan tool (small fee) but haven’t made enough profit to buy a decent scan tool!

Yo bro, new to your channel but I gotta say, out of all the British car guys doing this, you're the most likeable. You're not over the top and shouty like some, relatable, and you're a grafter and don't mind getting those hands oily.
Mustafa is the man on bodywork, cut at the right point to maintain the front crumple zone correctly. My only point would be the painter. Looks like it's a 2 stage pearl colour that he hasn't layed correctly as the bonnet and drivers side were off. I think the base coat was probably correct and matching, but with pearls you have to laquer the whole side and in the same direction to get the correct opalescence otherwise it never quite matches up. I've seen it many a time and pearls are a PITD pal. Otherwise, sweet ass job 👌
P.s I used to R&O blown up tanks, so I know a solid/suitable repair, props to you pal

I could really use the scanner, started buying cars to fix as a hobby and currently use one of those ebay £10 scanners that links to my phone. Doesn't always work as it should so would love a proper scanner. Been watching you since early, I remember the rat e class from back in the day

Not sure if I missed it but did you cover the left rear air suspension issue?
Yh, its in a previous ep. I changed the bag/strut and got the entire system calibrated. All sorted now. In this video theres a but where the car goes to the low setting and i sped it up so u see the car dropping.

Might be a 50/60k car but with a bodged chassis leg awful alignment of bonnet to wing gaps and bonnet to bumper gaps and and side skirt fitment you’ll be lucky to get it
