It was made in a chemistry lab. 2) I 💕Portagee sausage. We called it portagee, and not portuguese sausage. So did the locals we learned to do that from. 3) Saimin is RADICAL out! When nothing else looks good on any menu, heck ... there is always saimin. ALWAYS. YUMMM. 4) I also love pancit. Always have. 5) Anything taro is an acquired taste. 6) Haupia is HEAVEN! Heck, any kine coconutty is HEAVEN. I love coconut anything!

Theres actually one mcDonald’s that still serves fried apple pie. Which is in Downey,Ca which is the oldest mcdonalds. But yeah i agree the baked apple pie is 🗑
Ohh yes, the good golden arches! I was just counting all the coupons my kids received from Halloween! We have 20+ to use by the end of the year! You eat it the exact same way I do! Shoyu on rice and eggs (and yes, I prefer Kikkoman as well) a little with every bite. As for the portuguese sausage, I love the McDonalds one! I found out that it is the same as the "Pacific Sausage" brand that you can find at Sam's Club! I used them in my "Zippy's omelette sandwich" video here th-cam.com/video/mwYY9E3BgKk/w-d-xo.html They aren't the "hockey puck" shaped but more like our traditional size we are used to eating lol!

They used to use S&S but eventually changed to Okuhara… Okuhara ended production during the pandemic and McDonald’s decided not to look for a new vendor. While not the best saimin, it was convenient…. Jack in the Box also sold saimin, but that disappeared from their menu sometime after 2000.
