Possible solution: Keep your FCC as is and for the dailies do the whole year in your pocket rings planner. That way it’s nice and chunky and all in one place. At the end of the year you can archive the whole thing in a nice binder. Hope this helps🥰
Hi Noelia! First off, loving the Vlogmas content :) Why don't you keep your FCC EDC and use your pocket rings just as you used your Moleskine? Fill it with dailies and keep it by your bed and use it in the same way. I know it still won't be bound, but you can archive it all at once at the end of the year in a binder or even look into having the pages bound once the year is over, I believe that's possible. Anyway, hope you figure out something that works for you!
I archive my pocket inserts in a long 3x5 index card box. Easy to flip through, dividers make organizing even easier. If you stick with the FCC you could get the same dailies and add it to there and just get one of the FCC storage boxes if you don't already use them. ~Tracy
Keep the compact as is. Use the pocket rings as a sub for the Moleskine and at the end of the year take the inserts to an office supply and have it bound into a book.
Before you stop using what you love, try using gel highlighter like they use in bibles or try crayons. Maybe you can make it work by just changing that one thing.
Noelia please!!!!!!!! lol even though I watch them I think ohhhh this pocket daily planner hehehehe I’m hating because I just LOVE FCCs so I’m voting for FCC Get the FCC storage for annual since it comes with a storage sleeve
I am a fan and a subscriber and I say this with love … the all or nothing thinking that you have bound yourself to in this scenario seems like it might be part of the anxiety and frustration. I do not sense any pleasure in your voice when you discussed the pocket rings option. It feels like you are jettisoning everything that works and brings you pleasure because one aspect will be different than in previous years. Best of luck!! Xoxo❤
Girlfriend, the struggle is real!!…. I have decided to purchase the sterling ink pocket planner and create the daily pages inspired by the format that you use. I’m having a difficult time leaving behind the pocket moleskine because it’s the book format that I have come to love so moving on to a new book. You could always decorate you pocket dailies the same way you did the moleskine and place only daily inserts into that rings planner….. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️
Hi, Noelia! Since you are already printing the text to section the pages of your Moleskine, is there a way to create the stickers as a label or box with the background shaded, thus eliminating the need for the Tombows?
I bought a daily A6 Kinbor for 2025. The paper is marker and fountain pen friendly. It’s not as small as a pocket but it’s still pretty compact and has nice paper plus affordable. I think I paid $15.
I AGREE !! If everyone that normally buys 1 Moleskine suddenly is buying 4-5 that can’t be returned because we test them then Moleskine benefits from higher sales and lower quality so why would they fix the problem.
Depending on on the size of your Eternal Leather Goods cover, I can fit an A6 planner/notebook in my pocket size cover from Ethernal Leather Goods. Maybe try an A6 Kinbor or Hobonichi?
Just keep your Franklin Covey planner as is since you are so used to it. The take everything out of your pocket rings except for the dailies and use that just as your daily log just like you used the Moleskine. Your pocket rings does not have to be used as a planner.
It is a struggle when you are a creature of habit. Know the struggle all too well. Why would Moleskine change their business practice when people are willing to buy 4 to 10 notebooks to find the good paper? Are there binders to archive what would be the replacements? Yet, if you choose that option, why not the 2 that cover a half year each? It’s really good to see you regularly! You were missed in November.
I was in the same dilemma and made my decision a couple of weeks ago. I’ll never give up having a weekly view because my brain needs to see time in a weekly view. So, I will be using my new Franklin Covey Compact Vintage Aurora in Dusty Blue. I use stickers in it. If you need to create slightly different inserts because stickers don’t work for you in your current inserts, that’s an option. I also bought 2 pocket moleskines for 2025 so I have that bound book for daily recording. The first one was crap, second one a winner. I too have eternal leather goods covers for my pocket moleskine. Was I mad about having to buy two, yep, but not mad enough to give up my bound daily recording book. I do not like Tamoe River paper or anyone else’s paper for that matter. I just look at it like this….if the pocket moleskine cost double would I buy it? The answer is yes! It brings me joy and I love that record of my days and the creative outlet it provides. Good Luck on your decision!❤
I don't think that there's anything wrong with having a workhorse EDC in a system (and size) you love that works for you and a separate memory keeper. I wouldn't let Moleskine's paper inconsistency change what you love and what brings you joy. I honestly wouldn't hijack your system because of a memory keeper. And archiving inserts for memory keeping/journaling does not have the same feel as a bound book. Adding all the extra stuff to Pocket(PP) could make it less enjoyable to use your EDC because it doesn't have the breathing room. And you wouldn't have all the fun aspects of the memory keeping/journaling that you love. I think you change sizes for your "memory keeper" and just get a tad bigger (4x6 vs 3.5x5.5 -- it's just a 1/2") and go with A6 and get either the Kinbor A6 or the Hobonichi A6 which both have monthlies and dailies and are basically the same as your Moleskine setup so an easy transition - that are dated and use that. I know TRP isn't your favorite but the Kinbor paper is actually nice and performs well and a little thicker in feel and you might enjoy it. It's also really inexpensive. And it's an excuse for a new Eternal Leather Goods cover, gives the same overall setup as the Moleskine and they will completely hold up to the chunk.
Well I’m in the same dilemma!! And I too refuse to order another Moleskin!! I e used them before just as notebooks and 2025 was going to be my first year with it I was so freakin excited!! I ordered mine months ago but never did pen or marker testing until I started hearing all the drama and quickly grabbed mine and SURE ENOUGH!! 😤 Mine did the exact same thing as other people! So in trying to avoid ordering different planners and not being happy I thought how can I make this work. My favorite markers are the TomBow so we all know that’s a no go. I had four of the Midliner brush markers and it doesn’t look bad maybe because of the colors I had 🤷🏻♀️ but there was no bleed through. Regular Midliner markers are not my fav but I have to say their brush markers are nice. So I think I’m gonna go that route and give it try. The Midliner colors I have just in case you’re curious are Green, Blue Green, Smoke Blue and Gray (I know you don’t like that color)!! I need to go to Michael’s and purchase pinks and some neutrals. I’d rather spend money on that than another stupid Moleskin!! Anyway, 🙏🏼 for us all who use and were about to use the stupid Moleskin. It’s unfortunate they don’t care! Enjoy your day!❤
Has anyone tried to return to Amazon a “crappy” Moleskine AFTER being “tested” in with Tombows/highlighters/markers stating the reason for return is a defective product? …which it is!!
I know you love your tombows but maybe you could use different markers that don't bleed tthroug or just go without highlighting your titles. Just underline them Then you could keep your original system.
Love your content, being a binger of your content I will say the following: 1. you sound so bummed by leaving the daily pocket and bound daily system. 2. leaving the FCC is just not you, you always say "Im a franklin Covey Girl", 3. you love doing your themes and say it repeatedly but have only said negative and bummed out things when you talk about moving to pocket. Why dont you try to get one more from a different source but you can set up your FCC with dailies as a back up. You just are not happy about pocket.

A6 Daily hobonichi fit the bill? You would have to like the thinner paper though. I think markers and all kinds of pens work in it.
Noelia, go with your gut and what brings you peace and happiness ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing.
Keep your FCC. Keep the Moleskine!!
Use washi tape instead of markers. You got this!!

It is frustrating! I have totally been there!

I suggested the same on her last video. Great minds.
@ I really like the Kinbor daily much more than the Hobonichi daily mostly because of the smaller grid and the vertical calendar in the front.
Pocket rings for the win. Archive the dailies in extra covers. Excuse to buy more covers.
I AGREE !! If everyone that normally buys 1 Moleskine suddenly is buying 4-5 that can’t be returned because we test them then Moleskine benefits from higher sales and lower quality so why would they fix the problem.
Leuchtturm A6/pocket does not have Tomoe River paper. It has 80 gsm paper too. It’s 3.5 x 5.9 inches and doesn’t have monthlies.

I just found you and started following because of your FCC content. 😩
I don’t think her FCC content will ever change. It’s her ride-or-die 💗 I know she says it's an option but I don't think she'd love her system as much.
@ 💗💗💗

Set up and ready to go 😊 here …my daily record is a hobo HON 😊

Can you do TN dailies instead?

I know you love your tombows but maybe you could use different markers that don't bleed tthroug or just go without highlighting your titles. Just underline them Then you could keep your original system.
You could use colored ink ballpoint pens to write your titles instead of stickers. That way you could keep the moleskin in your line up.
