Five Guys is not British, it's some American company that's started opening up here in last year or so. You travelled all the way to London and ate a burger from a Five Guys that's like walking into a McDonald's
Stephen Hitchens hmm.. what other burger restaurant would you recommend? i am.planning a trip to London
So you went to London and ate burgers, cookies and crepes.? Really......
So? I love London but I don't like typical english food in general. Don't really see the point in this comment tbh.
Shana Possemiers sorry but you didn't eat typically english food you ate tourist food
I'm pretty sure I did but I just have peculiar tastebuds. Thanks for the input nonetheless.
This may have been the best travel vlog ever, but I wouldn't know because I couldn't get past Five Guys being the first recommendation.
London has the best of the worlds cuisine on its doorstep, and all you do is eat bad American calorie laden food? How disappointing
Firey Flower
Ahh . . . she ate Yorkshire pudding.
American's don't eat that.
christopher jones the first 3 fkn things she eats arent even english. it should have been mainly english not one or two things.
Firey Flower yup!!! lola‘s bakery has some real English Food for instance th-cam.com/video/Ng3Ywtqk58s/w-d-xo.html...not five guys 🤷🏻♀️😬
Sounds like you need a trip to the U.S. :-D
Five Guys is a US brand, Hummingbird is American-based, Cereal Killer Café is fashioned after several cereal cafes in NYC, and Wahaca is a bastardization of Oaxaca in Mexico...
As soon as she said "Five Guys" I clicked to the next video.
Fish and chips.
Cream cheese bagel with smoked salmon
Salt beef sanwich on rye bread with a gherkin.
China Town for a good Oriental meal if you like. ( or maybe an Indian meal...)
Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with roasted potates on a Sunday.
You cannot leave London without trying that lot.
This video is honestly so helpful. I'm planning a trip to London this March, now I have an idea of were to go!
Oh wow Sketch's store concept looks awesome and, as always, thanks for all your recs! Btw, you and Jacob are adorable!
Thank you for the information, I will be going to London in 5 months.
Omg that cereal place sounds Ah-maziiingg~!! I LOVEE cereal hahaha 😂💖 always super happy to see your travel vlogs!
when in London you go to an American restaurant. LOL
I have followed this video for Five guys and The Sketch. Five guys was really popular with people queuing outside, a real hit. Sketch was the perfect experience for 5 o'clock tea. Really really amazing. Thanks for sharing !
Xavier Melisse Five Guys is an American chain restaurant. She could have just give to Burger king.
Extremeley interesting and knowledgeable video, you've managed to capture an appealing yet friendly demeanour and portray the restaurants you visited in a professional manner!
Aaaaa I like your video so much! I start drooling when you have the Sunday Roast.
such a great & helpful video! loved it :)
Five guys is American. And I have to tell you that £4 for a crepe is not cheap that's really steep and £4 for cereal, I'm from London and I know that's a rip off. Plus next time you go you should try one of the Korean restaurants in china town or Soho.
Wow, you go to some interesting places. You guys are true travellers, not restricting yourselves at all. Good stuff great Vid.
Thanks.. love your videos on London.. going this summer !
This vlog was great!!!!!
I must try these!
The pronunciation of Covent Garden had me rolling! 😂😂
nope im a londoner and thats how much shit costs to tourists! she shouldve gone to chinese towns bubble waffle shop you can get an amazing waffle/ crepe for 4:50 with loads of ingredients
Thanks for the video Roseanne. very nice
I'm going London next week this is such a helpful and interesting video :)
Yet to visit Hummingbird Bakery. Looks really good!
Yummmmm! Enjoy 🍴
What's going on ! No Fish & Chips , no Pie & Mash shop , and no Roast dinner , not even a Curry ?
Dave Devon this video was a disaster movie...should have been called.."Food to eat in London when your homesick"
You should also try the Four Seasons in Bayswater for top quality Chinese duck! My brother's wife (she's Chinese Malay) knew about it and took us there a few years ago when they were visiting. Their duck is amazing. I'm a British born Londoner yet didn't knew about this particular Chinese restaurant before then. Apparently it's fairly well known among Chinese travelers when they come to London- hence why you often see mostly Chinese people eating there. The service leaves a little to be desired and it's always packed- but their duck is phenomenal.
The Five Guys by my house in New York has been there for the past 8 years. It's the most American food you could get! As for Shake Shack, that too has been close to my place in New York. It's probably been there for at least a decade now. Lol you might as well have gone to New York!
Im defintely going to try the harrison!
Its a shame you didn't eat traditional English food while you was in london
lippy57 so you expected her to go out and eat fish and chips & beans on toast 😐 that’s boring and traditional English food is shit anyways
@@Minzies2 Who the fuck goes to London to eat an American burger chain? Fish and chips are shit? You seem like the type of person that orders chicken nuggets off the kids menu at restaurants. Stay in your ignorant bubble. London is an incredible location for cuisine, ripe with fusions of various cultures. You're an absolute idiot if you go to London to have Five Guys.
She had a roast dinner and besides it's London with the best food from around the world. However she chose poorly.
That Sketch place looks amazing.
5 guys in London really ?
Yeah...I'm stopping the video now! This started horribly!! 5 guys is like 3 blocks from my dorm room in Chicago!!
Glad we don't have In and Out, I went there in America it's DISGUSTING.
I thought the same thing. Why go on about 5 Guys in London or Shake Shack? That an NYC thing.
You're videos are the best ,I love u 💜
Omg Ben's Cookies are awesome 😍😍😍
I really like your videos and your accent!! I can't wait to go to London!!!
Will pop in when next down their. Thanks for the info.
You must spread the scones with clotted cream then the jam. That's how the british eat it 😉. I'm coming back to London next month. Thanks for sharing 🇬🇧
MissAnalyn haha ok! I usually don't do that because I don't like cream as much as the jam :p
roseannetangrs We actually do it both ways. There are 2 places in the UK where cream teas are super famous. In Devon, you spread cream then jam and in Cornwall you have a Cornish tea, which traditionally is served on a local bread item, but most people now use scones. They spread jam then cream. Brits debate which is better, almost as much as we talk about the weather!
+MissAnalyn My Nan would often make scones, I liked them hot out of the oven with butter. You are right though, clotted cream and jam is a winner.
+Saanvi Sharma I am assuming you are asking when it was posted, well it says uploaded on April 26th 2015.I'm not who you asked but I was just thinking I could help.
I grew up in London, and you got so much wrong. The roast looked nasty, wrong place to eat. Bagels and Five Guys have got nothing to do with London. Some typical tourist traps, and certainly missing the best of what London has to offer. Please explore better next time :)
Jim Long what do you recommend then? I don't wanna be where all the tourists are
i recommend you go to shoreditch and hoxton market. also go to london bridge market.
BosnaPaki depends what you’re looking for. London is very eclectic for food. English food try out some of these - Battersea Pie Station, St. John (known for English renaissance), Malt House (good gastro), Hoi Polloi, Quo Vadis, to name a few. If you’re looking for Indian, Chinese, Greek, Spanish etc there’s some amazing restaurants.
Good video! just made a Barcelona vlog and saw yours in the suggestions!😉☺️
Five Guys?? This is an American restaurant!! And Shake Shack is also American....
Like ur video!! Thanks for the addresses! 😁
Just subscribed to your channel..
Have you got any idea of good sushi restaurant???? I am looking for on those restaurant where you can pick a plate
gotta love a bit of Wahaca! The first time guacamole graced my lips *drools*
I just stumbled on your vlog and it's always interesting to see what people find in the place where you live. Sketch is such an experience! Next time you visit hit up Maltby St Market on the weekend for some food stalls.
That Sunday roast looks mega!!!!!!
Great video! Don't forget the wonderful Savoir Faire (West End): elegant and affordable, it's my favourite restaurant in London.
OMG! Five Guys Burgers? We have one in Saskatoon (Canada). Nope! Not an English attraction for me.
Of course. I imagine that Five Guy Burgers originated there (in America).
.
robofthewest they also have a resturant in the ksa. It's like my favourite burger resturant
We have 5 guys down the street here in Canada. BTW, thanks for making this video. I'm heading to London in June and plan on trying that crêpe from Portobello Market.
The chocolate orange cookie at Ben's in Edinburgh is amaze balls
Five Guys started in the East Coast in the U.S. :)
I want to try those cookies... omg!!!
Yorkshire puddings are basically batter (like you would use for pancakes) but roast in the oven in a muffin tin so it rises into a crunchy/fluffy pudding.
WHAT NO CREAM ON THE SCONE AND WHAT :O NOT EVEN REAL TEA you did it wrong woman
Including American chain burgers, cookies, cupcakes, crepes, prepackaged cereals and a trip to Whole Foods really doesn't do justice to the variety and quality of food London has available. That afternoon tea doesn't look like a traditional one you're meant to find here either! :/
Roseann, do you have any travel videos of London? I LOVED the one you did in Paris. also I hve a few questions for you about the paris video. please tell me if you have one of london or this food one is all you have Love to you
Really good ideas
For portobello road on Saturday from what time until what time does the market stay open ?☺️
Hey!!! we have five guys around my house in US... like 3 of them in 15 mile radius...they were cool like 7 years ago...
£4.50 for a bloody crepe!! You got ripped off
It's London, a waffle will cost you almost the same in Oxford Street.
Exactly! All the places shown were expensive places. Not all tourists want to get ripped off
THAT ISNT REAL AFTERNOON TEA, AFTERNOON TEA COMES ON A 3 LAYER CAKE STAND WITH MINI SCONES, SANDWICHES AND FANCY ASS DESERTS
I don't think Five guys Is very British or London based. I'm a Londoner born and bred, if you like burgers, Meat Liquor is a great option. Homeslice in cov-ent garden for pizza lovers. Also, Any branch of the breakfast club is great for brunches and breakfasts ! love the video xx Also for a more authentic market food experience than portabello you could try Borough Market. incredible food xxx
Hannah C It's based out of Arlington, VA. A suburb of Washington D.C. This girl is not very smart.
Claridges or Fortnum & Mason a must for tea!
Jeffrey Morris if you could only recommend one , which one of these 2 would be for afternoon tea. i am going to London ext year (quite soon)
nice video,, nice places, i ll visit next time im in london,,,
why include the cereal cafe in this? if anything it should be an embarassment for London. The shit they sell there can be found at most supermarkets, selling a bowl for more than the price of the whole box and carton of milk combined. No Nandos mentioned- the nations favourite chicken, and with the one of the biggest South Asian populations, why isn't curry mentioned?
I totally agree, a couple of hipster dudes ripping of people with nostalgia and/or thinking they´re eating healthy. Anger building, must go :)
f160178 this is so true ! I heard about the cereal place a while back and thought why ? Can't you just have that at home and I'm sure it would work out cheaper. But omg Nandos is my fav i eat it almost once a month can't get enough of it
I’m coming to London st the end of June/beginning of July. What should I pack for clothing?! Layers? Dresses? Help! Haha!!
Ben's cookies are the best!
The scone tastes wonderful toasted with butter and jam.
PINKIE UP!!
Lol, Five Guys was founded in Virginia, and is popular in most of the United States, with the main exceptions being in the North East (Shake Shack is more popular there), and on the West Coast and Midwest (In-N-Out Burger is king in those areas).
you went to London and went to a 5 Guys thats an American Burger Chain , Crapes is a french food.
When you ate a spoonful of cereal with nutella and trying to grasp some magical words in the air and voila "taste like nutella " why the did i ever watch this crap....
If ur in London again get yersel some pie n mash..and eels
The duck at Goldmines looks delicious.
My friend used to live in the flat above the Beigel shop. Used to cost him thirty quid a week.
I've been to sketch and it's literally the greatest/weirdest place I've ever seen!!!
Where can i find whole food market?
There's some pretty unadventurous eating on this.
those salt-beef bagels are delicious . .
Good guide to see where I can possibly eat if i'm in the area but will most likely try more different foods! & wow that crepe was expensive lol that's like $10AUD.... i've only ever paid $4AUD for a crepe haha
i like it! yeah i´m mexican and not everything looks pretty alike but well haha it was great, love your vlog
I'm eating Ben cookies while watching this 😂 it's really nice 👍
MmM, i like your video. Thanks but you were amazed almost for everything. I`m from Mexico and if i want to go to london in order to taste its food i cannot use your video as a guide.
You know you're in good old Blighty when you hear The Cure playing over the tannoy in Whole Foods! Makes me very proud!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
this crepe is extremely common!! omg, in Paris, at least some crepers add tomatoes and onions
You need to smother the scone in about half an inch of jam, then an inch of cream!
It's a tube station down at Bricklane yea, there's no rail over there. Enjoyed beaming this video nonetheless. Cheers.
Beigel Bake isn't exactly cheap eats, but it's damn good. In London you should try fish & chips, such as Fryer's Delight in Holborn. Or try an English breakfast at a local eatery, not a touristy place.
Where is you jacket from? Its pretty! :)
Sketch looks so good!
HAVE YOU TRIED COOKS PIE & MASH its traditional east london food try it.
Neil Franklin not just east London, west, south (probs north 2) and other parts, cook is gr8 everywhere
I live In London and everything is awesome 😀
Im going to London next month what foods/places are a must try ?
Pie and Mash, Afternoon Tea, Fish & Chips (takeaway, not restaurant), Cadbury chocolate 😊
Yes! Takeaway NOT restaurant. I had the Best Fish & Chips in a takeaway, and the WORST EVER in a restaurant (the locals forewarned me too).
You have to try The Larrik in Marylebone! It's a really great pub with a good Sunday roast. :)
hi ! one question, how much did you pay in the last restaurant?
Next time you're in London, you should try this amazing Scottish burger place called McDonald's. The Big Mac is a particular favorite of the natives there.
Michael Medlock omg 😂
Hahahah quality
Had Chinese Goldmine. It was my first time having it in 3 months as I had been traveling. Everything I ordered was so nice. Especially the duck. Service was fast and friendly too. Took a ride waterloocars.co.uk my driver suggested me to try it actually. Worth eating highly recommended
I literally laughed out loud from the OP's comment
Lol
