I love how you did this nano series. Writing is tough and can bring so much to the surface and it was really helpful seeing how you tackling everything as it came up.
I love your tip about making your writing goals for the next day. I actually am applying this to the way I plan my days and to-do lists. I usually plan my weeks on Sundays when I'm relaxed and ambitious, but usually fall off by Wednesday. By checking in w/ myself at night and planning just the next day allows me to be more realistic and also makes me more psyched for the next day.

I am really tempted to try the scents, but in the last years I just couldn't get myself to switch my winter and summer perfume. For winter I have got the Gaultier² (sweet and heavy and soooo cozy) and for the summer Miss Dior (fresh and light).
It is great to hear that there are others who switch perfumes for the different seasons.
I wrote 30k during Nano.

Congratulations!! Last year I didn't win NaNoWriMo, but I accomplished my goal to get as much written before I ran into a research block, so I felt I won in that sense. I'm hoping to do Camp NaNo next year to bust out the rest of the book. Thanks for your inspiration and all your beauty hacks!
Congrats for winning I did too. but have to still write last 3 chapters I was losing stream, but have them mapped out just have to regroup a bit then I will have the entire 1st draft done. I will have to try the coconut oil for hair now that we have a water softener. I have done it twice but it was SO hard to get out of my hair. We have extremely hard water and I think that may have been why.
Nice video idea! It's easy to forget about self care because there's always more work to do... A self care tip if you want to embrace your natural curls: Try an Olaplex treatment! I heard it works wonders to restore the natural curl pattern (I wouldn't know because my hair is pin straight, but it helped a lot with damage from bleach and removing frizz for me).

Congratulations! I'm so glad you finiahed on the positive message about progress. I only managed 15k myself in November, but I've been telling people all month that I'm happy with whatever word count means I'm moving forward.
I would love to see similar vlogs in months where you do revisions too. To see if you still work on a word count or an hourly or page count, and how you keep momentum in a different headspace. Because drafting and revising are so different.
I also have to ask... I was looking at where you sit compared to where your keyboard is and wondering, fo you ever get sore wrists/arms from that angle? I've been struggling with it myself. I find that if I pull my keyboard closer my wrists hury from the dropped angle, but if I push it back my arms are raised and my shoulders and neck hurt more. Do you have any experience with this, and if so, any tips?

I use organic coconut oil as a face moisturiser and I use it in my curly hair instead of hair mousse. It’s the best!
