Hey Katrina, the color of the baby velvet is so pretty, and I'm not a pink person😂. We used to get the puzzle monthly club from them. So now we have a huge stash to do😊. Have a great day friend!
Red Heart has been revamping their yarn in the last few years so even the regular yarn is softer and it feels like a lightweight 4. I haven't bought from Mary Maxim in years but during lockdown when you couldn't find yarn, they had a good supply available. I still get their catalog because they have some lovely kits and I love that they sell most brand named yarns in colors that you can't always get elsewhere.
Morning Katrina. Yeah the bamboo fair doesn't look blush to me. But I'm sure you will find a use for it. The only Soft I know is the Caron Simply Soft. Family news. My granddaughter Olivia got picked as player of the month for February. She also won Player of the Match at the weekend, which was amazing as she was playing soccer with a team that had players at least two years older than her. The team she played for was short of players and they rang up on Saturday night to see if she was free to play. She's on cloud nine, and enjoying one of those times in your life where hard work is paying off and everything is going her way. And she learned the double crochet last night when we had a crafting video call. 😇 Very proud grandparents. xxJane 🐑🌼
They visited London, Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Bath. They are in Dublin, Ireland for the next couple of days before returning to London. I’m not sure if they will be bringing yarn back for me. I didn’t ask, so it will be a surprise if they do.
I'm in North West England, in between Manchester and Liverpool. I'm 35 miles away from both of them. I have never been to Ireland, even though quite a few of relatives on my Dad's side live there. One day. Hope they enjoy their experience. X
I agree, you get what you pay for. The yarn I couldn't remember the name of was Caron Simply Soft. It was very frustrating in that it was a very intricate pattern that I spend months making and it started breaking apart in places shortly after it was completed. It was the only yarn I have every had that happen with. Sorry if I came across as negative, I love most yarns.
The bamboo fair could at least be used to add cute little cheeks on the doll. I like buying from Mary Maxim.
It could work with the cheeks. I like pink, so I will definitely use it for something.
Hello! Thanks for sharing your lovely yarn you purchased. It will surely make up something nice for your craft fair. Take care.💕
Thank you! 😊
Hi Katrina 😊 nice yarn haul ❤ I have not ordered from there will check it out 😊
I will definitely order from them again.
Great little haul! Love the yarn❤❤
Thank you! 😊

I was really impressed by the prices and the customer service.
Sounds like a great deal, the price of the yarn and free shipping, can't beat that!
I love a bargain.

Hi Katrina, nice yarn. I've never bought yarn from Mary Maxim. I did buy yarn from Herrschners though.
I've never bought Herrschners.
Nice yarn, the only other yarn I can think of is Caron Simply Soft. Lion Brand has their skin tones yarn on sale too.
You are right. It was Caron Simply Soft. I kept thinking it was a Red Heart, but I was wrong.

How exciting for them and you.

Yay for your grand-daughter! I'm so happy for her to be picked as Player of the Month and the Match. Definitely a proud grandma moment

Think you were trying to think of Caron Simply Soft, which I use interchangeably with Red Heart Soft, when I need to.
YES, that's what it was! Thank you! I couldn't, for the life of me, remember the brand.
Please don't be so negative about yarn. If you buy cheap. Yarn you can't expect it to last forever
