The shazam app is pretty handy too, once all the permissions are setup you can just open the app and it'll immediately start listening for any music that's playing nearby and will tell you what the song is one the screen. It's a good time saver if you want to tag a song quickly; if you have a three or two button watch you can just map it to one of the buttons and instantly start tagging, or you can just make an app shortcut complication on the watch face.
Good stuff. But, I feel you don't need 14 min for this. To make it interesting, you can categorise what are the basic functions one would do and suggest apps (light weight and optimum) for most watches. Playing games is fine, but instead of playing the game you like, you can list a few that are fun to play.
I'm a little confused I have the ticwatch pro. if I'm using a running app that turns on the heart rate monitor how do I shut it off when I'm done. There doesn't seem to be any task manager or task killer on an Android Wear watch and it's not like I can just swipe to the right like I would on an Apple watch so how do I shut down tasks when I'm no longer using them as there's limited Ramon this watch and I don't want the heart rate monitor to keep going until the battery is dead as I didn't get one full day out of use of it when I just looked at how my RunKeeper app looked on the watch to figure out if I needed to bring my phone as my RunKeeper on my phone gives me cadence.

Watching smart device reviews makes me feel like I'm living my life wrong because I'm not obsessed with the weather. Do most people honestly have a need to constantly check the weather on a screen? Why is a weather app so important? I'm assuming people who use weather apps spend almost 99% of their time indoors since you can check the weather instantly by just being alive if you're outside, so if you're spending so much time inside why do you even care about weather? Serious questions. Not trolling
I have an Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic. My first Wear os watch. I like it so far. I have it paired with a Sony Xperia 1 III. Works good. To get the "Samsung Health Monitor" app to work i needed to download an modified version of the app. Im now in working progress of uninstall unwanted apps/bloatware that cant be uninstall ed the "Normal" way. Next on my list i want to get the E-sim to work. I heard that i need a Samsung galaxy phone for it to work. But Hopefully i can find another way for it to work. I hate when Samsung tries to force us to have a Samsung phone to get every funktion in the watch.
Nice review. I'm a tech lover having had many smartwatches. From the Palm pda watch (big silver brick lol) to Sony smartwatch 1 & 2, the moto 360 first gen, the Asus second gen, and currently sporting the Lg Urban 2nd gen. A few apps I like are facebook messenger, Calendar, hourly chime for wear(love this one!), wear messages, my radar, wear mini launcher...A great calculator is the multi calculator... A few games that run very well are space invaders 2, minecart jumper, wild wild gun ( love this game), and you sunk. I'm more geared toward spotify since I use it more.
Wear OS SUCKS..... 2 days of battery life just to tell time, what a fucking joke. And the OS does nothing... most of the apps are broken without a network or bluetooth connection... which if you enable them, suck battery even faster... Fuck that. I don't want a fucking watch I have to fucking charge every day. Stupidest watch firmware EVER.
