I built a house in my town and rented the ground floor to a lecturer while I use the upper floor when I came to Nigeria. This so called lecturer did not pay his rent for more than one year. And he still owes me up till today. I was told that he was building his own house while he stayed in my house without payment. He abused my kindness because I live abroad. Being fed up to the back teeth with Nigeria, I sold the property and refused to build another property in Nigeria. I have also pulled all my investments in Nigeria. How I survived 7 years ar the shop before leaving for London in the mid 90s is the Grace of God. The biggest problem of our people is bitterness and envy.
