Honestly the idea of a Terraria skill tree for the different classes sounds freaking awesome. If they ever do make a sequel I'd love to see that for subclasses as well

First: this is a super interesting mod and I’m eager to see where it goes from here. There’s quite a bit of promise here.
Second: I figured out why The Dark Dawn killed you after using it for a bit. If you run out of mana while using it, it kills you. So you want to avoid running out of mana with it at all costs.
Really? Mana was the reason?
Pinkymod was another mod in 1.3 that had this dope mechanic of having like a traveling system and you could travel between islands, honestly that mod was ahead of it's time because the islands looked gorgeous.
Please do a video on Mod of Redemption and Secrets of The Shadows next, those mods are gorgeous.

@@Throarbin Nice, also there's qol mods like "Teleport All NPC Home", "No Pylon Restrictions" and "Shop Expander".
They're really good for recording playthroughs and they really make the tedious parts of the game less tedious.
That worm in the underworld dealt more damage the the moon lord's death ray. And it seems like you can only deal one damage just like you would on a guardian, I wonder what it drops.
Also the sound the worm makes reminds of the reaper leviathans in subnautica it's terrifying,
Yeah, I don't know if it's a boss that's meant to be beat but I'm sure you can. Great, now I want to know if it drops something 😂
Hey, really cool video! The skill tree kind of reminds me of Decadent Skills, you could try it! It adds some skill trees for a class of your choice and some bosses that you can fight to unlock new classless skill trees. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t change your chosen class, unless I somehow missed the option. Anyway, try it if you have the time!
Is Decadent Skills the name of a mod?
@@Throarbin Yep, it’s still in alpha but it has quite a lot of skills. A grand total of 431 between all classes (it also has calamity support for the Rogue class), plus some active abilities and 3 bosses
There is an option to change classes, although the consumable for it is rare, I believe it's a rare drop from bosses, or atleast I got it while farming the Brain of Cthulhu.
the underworld giant worm was named "Apep" according to the death message, which is the serpentine egyptian demon god of chaos, so thats fun!

I keep it available in the event of gamebreaking bugs which have happened occasionally with mods. I also use it to get magic storage at the start so I don't need to burn time organizing and shine potions [when I remember] so my character can be seen while recording

Those armour sets *are* direct references to the Souls games.
The Armour of the Sun directly mentions Solaire of Astora (an NPC from Dark Souls 1), and the Onion Knight set is based on the various... well, Onion Knights- knights from Caterina, well known for their jovial attitude.

big recommendation is to use the boss checklist mod really helpful to not miss out on a boss
It is, yes, but not all mods are compatible with it and this is one of those mods

Actually never expected him to play a mod for a month tbh. But I would recommend remnant of the ancients mod, it’s a fairly underrated mod.

I think the armour of the sun made you slow, during the nigth, since it is armour of the sun not moon
I thought about that, though I can't remember if I tested it or not. Since I didn't see a debuff marker anywhere I wasn't sure. Worth looking into

This is the first one month one mod I'm watching! I'm a little scared of modded terraria tbh, but I did finally get tmodloader today and I might try out thorium? Idk it seems like a good beginner mod
Yeah, from what I've heard it's not a bad place to start and I know some people say it's "easy" which I think might make it an even better beginner mod. I personally haven't played it in many years though so I don't entirely know what it's like now

Your desert question is good. I haven't seen many big mods.
But like... The desert right off the bat is extremely dangerous for new world gen with a new character. I have no idea why people think its a good idea to have that early progression in the desert.

bro sorry to say this i hope u didnt use the cheat sheet
I used it at the end to grab the weapons I missed and try them out. I believe I also used it to make magic storage so we didn't need to spend a lot of time sorting through storage. But I keep it on for these mod "showcases" since some have bugs that break the mod. In the one I'm currently playing there was actually an update that bugged a structure so I couldn't explore a dungeon it added. So that's why I keep it on. Oh, I also use it to get shine potions at the start so that way my character can be seen in the footage.
The craftable armor is Solaire and Siegward from Dark Souls 1
