Looks exactly like my 2010 XT Limited. Black with the same Japanese front end and spoiler, bought directly from a dealer. It was love at first sight. Put some 19" TSW Londrinas on it and a Cobb chip. Does 45 mph in first, 75 mph in second and 125 mph in third! Ran out of road to check top speed, estimated at around 140 - 145 mph. I buy new cars every two years but I just cannot part with it. Love it.

+Beardyman U.K. it is approx the size of the usa but with 5% of the population! There is masses of nothing out here. It takes about 4 days to drive north to south, and a round trip of the coast is over a month!
***** most people break the trip into 2 days, much less dangerous. Lots of towns along the way etc. Airfares are decently cheap in aus now, few hundred bucks

I had a thought a while ago that removing the roof bars from the Forester and plugging the holes would make it look lower like a wagon. Bit late now I guess😂
Moog , you may say what you want about it , but the Subaru Forester XT is a high clearence , not very expensive , spacey , modern and fast SUV so it is probably the most practical car you owned since thw start of MightyCarMods .
The fact that someone would actually allow someone else to buy them a car, is astounding. The fact that that friend would do what it takes to get them to fall in love with it is practically the definition of a Best Friend. I am amazed.

nagyfagyotthal57 I know, but it's not necessary. The only reason I can think of is that the Queensland plates belong to the previous owner and the New South Wales plates belong to MCM.

Look up "front lip spoiler for the forester sh" or "front under spoiler for the forester sh" and it should show up in a bunch of places. Don't forget to check forums too! Actual part number: Subaru E2410SC000VW Spoiler
To have a "reason" to get a new car, new mods, new content. In the drag race you can see the Subaru in MOOG's rearview mirror for a second. A JDM S15 with full exhaust, a BOV, a front mount, and a Boost Controller should have atleast 325bhp, depending on the boost level. MOOG said it's running a BAR of boost in the FS thread.

I realize this is incredibly old video...but I'm currently working on my 09 FXT....I can't find much info about the self-leveling rear struts....what struts should I get to prevent self-leveling? I already purchased the Pedder's lowering springs...I purchased some KYB Excel G front and rear struts (341486 rear and 339169/70 front)..how do I know if these KYBs are self-leveling?
If I don't use premium with a WRX wagon from 2011 or so, will that kill it and make it useless? I don't intend to be wailing on it or racing/drifting very often, but would I be able to get away with like mid range/regular pump gas?

I think taking the headlight apart and painting over the shiny reflective bits to BLAACCK would look sick! That would be an awesome episode. Maybe even like a projector w/bi-xenon conversion.

(Unfortunately mine is the base X Limited, non turbo) It's also hilarious that all the problems he had with it, I do as well. the Chrome grille is ass, and the upward slanting front looks odd (Even worse, I dont have factory fog lights, just hole covers...) Im so glad this popped up and reminded me of his Forester, So i can go out and redo my front end

You so need to get WRX or Sti seats. The extra support makes the car feel so different. Or a good option is the RS seats (same as the WRX but they don't have any embroidery). They bolt straight in but you will need to swap out the airbags(Easy). Total Cost = $380 for as new front seats from wrecker.

I rewatched the race and both of them bogged the start. But with Marty's mods, he'd be making around 290-300hp, and I think his car may be lighter. I see your point and the finish looked slow. And then they happened to have a GTR ready, but either way, I love watching this show

We have a Subaru forester 2011. Its Wine red and its look beatiful. I mean the paint on forester depends a lot and Wine red is the best in My opinion
so i know that the Impreza and xt body panels are interchangeable do you happen to know if that is the case with all forester trims
