looks good dude ..what i used to do in your situation was trace around the drivers valve cover and cut out the fire wall and try to fit it cause sometimes we needed distributer clearance also so cut it all out were it needs to be and cap it off from inside the cab. thats gonna be a sweet truck..
I would make a outline clean cut that will allow any and all that engine to go inside the cab if needed then set it in to see just how much room is needed, cut a strip of metal a bit wider than space needed to weld to the cab and the piece taken out.... kinda like a bowl only shaped different. Go slow and it should come to you. Nice going so far
