【節分】鬼がやってきた！ ひまわり保育園 2024/2/1

2月1日、節分を前にした砂川市のひまわり保育園には鬼が登場し、子どもたちからは悲鳴が上がりました。
鬼が持ってきた「閻魔帳」には「片づけをしない」「ご飯を食べずにタブレットで動画ばかり見ている」など、子どもたちの直してほしいところなどが書かれた保護者からの情報が書かれていました。（※鬼の前には保護者や本人から事前に希望のあった子のみ呼ばれています）
名前を呼ばれると、鬼の前に行くのを嫌がって泣きだす子も。
最後には鬼と握手をして約束を守ると誓い、最後には「いい子になります」と宣言。
鬼が帰った後には節分の特別メニュー「恵方巻」をほおばっていました。

Japanese demon has arrived! Himawari Nursery School in Sunagawa City, Hokkaido, Japan

Setsubun is the event held to pray for our happy and healthy life.It is held on Feb 3th or 4th.
On this day, it is also tradition in Japan for demon to scare children in order to educate them.
City hall employee dressed as demon appeared at Himawari Nursery School, causing screams from the children.
Traditionally, demons are chased away by pelting them with beans, but at this nursery school, in order to teach the children not to harm others, demon make peace with children and then go home.
Demon call the children and read out messages from their parents.
Parents told their children about things they wanted their children to improve, such as ``They watch videos on their tablets instead of eating,'' and ``They play games all the time and go to bed late.''
Children shook hands with demon and promised to improve.
(Only children who requested it from themselves or their parents were called.)
Demon look so scary that kids start crying just by looking at them.
One boy said, ``I was scared! I will keep my mother's orders.''
Also,they ate “Eho-maki”.
Eho-maki are thick sushi rolls which is believed to bring good fortune if eaten while facing the year’s “Eho” (good luck direction).
