😞 It deeply saddens me that you seem so confused here. Please pray for clarity from God. I truly believe you are missing the point and being deceived. The message here is that repentance is a RESULT of placing trust in Christ and His death and resurrection. Then baptism follows. These two choices do not grant salvation, but rather derive from it. They are sequels of God's grace. This means we make different choices as a CONSEQUENCE of believing; therefore, reflecting our changed heart. The new heart God gives is what CAUSES repentance. It spurs us on to baptism and desiring to outwardly express the incredible change God has done within the heart. Otherwise, John 3:16 would be meaningless. Do you understand ? Proclaiming with our mouth and believing in our heart that Jesus is Lord and died for our sins is the FIRST STEP. Similarly, 'Faith without works is dead,' does not mean we work to earn salvation. God's grace, through faith, which is a gift in itself from God, is what brings salvation. Nothing WE do (other than making the choice to believe) will result in salvation. I will be praying this makes sense to you~ that God reveals limpidity. 🙏🏽
Iam a Deacon and needed to hear this sermon.Iam seventy one years old and been living with pastor Stanley and He truly is a man of God hallelujah amen.
I have grown so much (at 55 too!!) from Dr Stanley's sermons and messages. I am so thankful he left so much wonderful material behind so us hard learners can catch up 🙏❤️
Praise God for Pastor Charles life. Even after death has blessed me and keep me reminded that God is a loving and forgiving God. Many times I fail but there is one truth that He forgives and He is a God of many chances. No condemnation. Thank God for using Ptr. Charles in my life.
I miss Dr. Stanley. My goal was to attend one of his live sermons, but I live out of state and never made it there. I am thankful all or most of his messages are captured on video to watch anytime. His words are golden.
Dear Father in Heaven I am so thankful to you for letting this MAN of GOD into my world!!! I have felt guilty most of my life because of the wrong view of God given to me & my siblings as children. Now that you’re received him, I pray this man’s message will continue to bless me and the rest of your earth until Jesus’ return! I love you Dr. Stanley! Look here with joy at the church you created.
That is one of the best sermons Dr. Stanley ever gave. For someone like me who was walking in the spirit and then reverted to rebellion it gives hope and assurance that God has forgiven me for those blunders and welcomes me back into fellowship with him. "God delights in fixing us" is a wonderful assurance. Instead of worrying about God saying..."Sorry, ace, you blew it and I don't want anything to do you with you anymore", God says..."I forgive you. Now, let me show you how I can straighten everything out for you and we can be close once again." Praise the Lord for this blessed message.
So enjoy, love listening to Dr. Stanley. RIP SIR ✝️ Always still learning from Dr. Stanley. Wise word's! God bless all his love one's,staff Family. 🙏✝️😇
This message was so timely, as all of his messages are. Actually, considering this message was decades ago, Dr. Stanley was before his time. Love him always. Praising God for him!!!💝
I've been struggling with a sense of guilty for my entire life. Never have I felt so refreshed by a sermon. Thank you very much for sharing the message!!

This is exactly the guilt and shame the love of my life is experiencing. He loves God so much but His church has taught him that any sin in in his life whether he repents or not makes him less of a man and not worthy of salvation. This has caused him to enter into a dark world of meth addiction and separated us maybe forever while destroying his health and soul. Those kind of messages have sadly enforced childhood and adult wounds that he was never good enough. It's the hardest thing to watch and be powerless to help him. I pray that he can be healed, his addiction removed, health restored, soul renewed and our relationship reconciled. This was the man I hoped to marry and be my companion for the remainder of my days here on Earth and in eternity. Please pray for his life and soul to be salvaged from the grips of the enemy. I don't think my prayers alone are working. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
