I have read the texts and then produced my thinking, bcoz tv serials show arjuna,ashwatthama, kripachary as underrated. And they don't even show satyaki which is such a shame
They show karna as extremely overpowered but in reality karna got defeated so many times in the mahabharat (3 times from arjuna, from kichak, from chitrasen, drupad{kmg,not bori} from satyaki and bheem too) even nakul gave a good competition to him initially in the war. But tv serials don't show all this

1. He didn't have Pashupatastra
2. There is no weapon like Brahmadand
3. He could still be defeated but not killed with his Kavach Kundal (example fight with Chitrasen )
4. Karna was originally Dronas student, Karna left Dronas ashram , cause Drona refused divine weapons to him(either because he was Suta or because he might be a competition to Arjun which Drona didn't want.
5. Vasusen was given the name of Vaikartana Karna by Indra and title of Danveer

किसी भी महाभारत के किताब मै यह नहीं लिखा है। गुरु द्रोणाचार्य ने कर्ण को शिक्षा देने से इंकार किया हो। गुरु द्रोण ने कर्ण को शिक्षा दिया था। लेकिन उन्होंने कर्ण को ब्रह्मास्त्र का ज्ञान देने से मना कर दिया। बाद मैं कर्ण ब्रह्मास्त्र का ज्ञान पाने के लिए भगवान परशुराम जी के पास गए।

है अर्जुन पर ही केंद्रित सदा
परन्तु कर्ण के जीवन-वृतांत को
मेरा मस्तिष्क बाहर न निकाल सका
आभास मन में होता रहा
वीर बस अर्जुन कहलाता रहा
महाभारत के इतिहास में
कर्ण भी तो महारथी रहा
जिसके पास नही थे
चक्रधारी से सारथी
जो दे पाते उसे गीता-रूपी ज्ञान
और अपनो से लड़ने की शक्ति
तथापि वो लड़ा
अपनों के विरुद्ध
जानते हुए कि
सँघर्ष तो है जटिल बहुत
नही है उसके पास कुछ भी तो
धनञ्जय की बराबर का
न ज्ञान साथ देगा रण में
न रथ आँचल छोड़ेगा वसुधा का
यदि छिड़ जाए बात कभी
सँघर्ष के पदचिन्हों की
तो मेरी स्मृतियों में घुल जाए सुगन्ध
कपटी कुरुक्षेत्र की मिट्टी की
जहाँ मेरी आँखें एकटक देखें
उस महारथी कर्ण को ही
न देख पाए अगर कुछ
तो शाप की बेड़ियों में बंधा कर्ण
दुर्योधन का ऋणी अंगराज कर्ण
अपने अनुज भाइयो का ज्येष्ठ कर्ण
और न ही देख पाऊँ मैं कौंतेय को भी
अगर मेरी कल्पना मुझे ले जाना चाहे
उस कपटी कुरुक्षेत्र में
तो फिर हो एक कपट
मेरी कल्पना के साथ भी
और मैं देख सकूँ एक ऐसा महायुद्ध
हो जो मेरी कल्पना से वशीभूत
अवश्य हो वहाँ धर्म की विजय
हो वहाँ सत्य की ही जय-जय
पर कुछ क्षण के लिए देख सके सब
वीरता का एक पहलू ऐसा भी
जिससे वंचित रह गए थे तब भी
जहाँ एक ओर हो द्रोणशिष्य
लिए हाथ में वही विशाल गाण्डीव
संग सारथीरूप में खड़े वासुदेव हो
और दूसरी तरफ रथ पर सवार हो रश्मिरथी
अपनी धनुष की प्रत्यंचा बाँधता "राधेय"
केवल रश्मिरथी राधेय
वो राधेय ! जो न किसी का भाई हो
न किसी का मित्र
न हो वो माता कुंती का अभागा सूत
और न ही किसी परशुराम का शापित
हाँ !
हाँ! मगर उस दानवीर से
माँग ले सहस्राक्ष उसका वो रक्षाकवच भी
जो होता किसी योद्धा को शोभायमान भी नही
और फिर प्रारम्भ हो मेरी कल्पना का एक युद्ध
तीर पर जब तीर चले
ज्ञान से जब ज्ञान कटे
अधीर हो जब दोनों धीर
प्रचंड घमंड खण्ड-खण्ड कटे
पर्यन्त रख जाति-धर्म को
एक वीर से जब वीर लड़े
हो न्याय का ऐसा संग्राम
तो मद घटे और मान बढ़े
जब कालचक्र के चक्र की हो
इतनी अनुपम कल्पना सुंदर
तब कहीं मिल पाएगा उत्तर
कि कौन था सर्वश्रेष्ठ धनुर्धर ?
