Thank you so much for posting these videos and also answering questions on VPINBALL.COM I have at last just played my first pinball game through PinUp frontend. As a total novice regarding software I cant believe I now have things running smooth at last. Its all down to you and the guy's on Vpinball forum, Thank you again. All the best Tony
the part where terryred copied over an old populated media folder into the new pinupsystem folder, and then all the games started auto matching up the files was dreamy.
Would you happen to know why I can see the Playfield and Backglass and DMD in the preivew of the game, but once I launch the game, only the playfield is visible. The backglass and DMD go away and it just shows the empty desktop.
Hey Terry new to the community, thanks you and other tutorials i have a really cool setup games playing nicely .. i just installed Fx3 and went to add games from games manager and i got an error Pinup Popper config error SQL locked .. ive never had that error come up before and have added other emu games no problem , not even sure its an FX3 issue any help would be appreciated
so if i dont want to use the front end i still need to use the game manger or can i just use fx3 and launch the lable and all will start auto as long as i have set up the emu
Could one make a "shortcut" to VIsual Pinbal X Media and have Popper & PinballX share the same folders, or does the over-writing that popper does make that Wrong and we need to use 2 x Media Folders ?
They use different naming conventions and standards...and PinballX has their playfield videos rotated from the actual layout of the tables (Popper does not). So no you can't mix them up.
@@TerryRed Ok Thanks was just about to try, Now i know why had to Rotate the Playfied media i had, Obviously it was made for Popper and Not PnballX, Cheers man
No. This is something the community doesn't approve of. Unlike MAME, and other emulators, ALL the games in virtual pinball are created by members of the community itself. So they prefer that you actually prefer you get the tables from the community sties, and give feedback and respect to the authors.
