Hitch liked Meeker and put him in the very first of his shows Revenge, directed by himself. Meeker had a kind of stocky animal magnetism reminiscent of Aldo Ray.
russel collings was a trip. he was also in suspense episodes: frisco payoff and more. he had that funny voice,,cool. ralph meeker was in 1 st episode of ,alfred hitchcock presents,, revenge, with vera miles,,and francis b.
I like anything Ralph Meeker plays in He has played in at least 3 other Alfred Hitchcock's episode Does anyone knows the old man's name ? April 29,2020
Watched it on MeTV. I don’t agree with the interpretation that the old lady set up her husband and is blackmailing the car salesman now. As interesting as that interpretation is. Edit: Than again, watching it here with that music…. Who knows?
Really? Because the other guy doesn't seem very good at taking care of people - ?? And the older woman doesn't have any proof of the younger guy's guilt. I just don't get the ending.
He (Ralph Meeker) thought that once the old man was out of the way he'd have no more worries... but the old man told his wife that he was covering for him, so the blackmail continues...
Love, love, love these old AH black & White episodes! There is nothing even close on TV nowadays that is as good. Thank you for the uploads!
Ralph Meeker was an amazing actor. Another great one!
For sure
He never had much stage time in, " I walk the line" but he stole it every time

Another brilliant story witha twist at the end. Thank you.
Double whammy ending - they are the BEST!
Oh please explain the ending to me. Unlike the cops in this show, I'm clueless.
Ralph Meeker was easy on the eyes in the '50s.
No longer free on Peacock but free on Roku, all episodes.
Now he has to take care of the wife, good for him.
Better than going to prison.

The old lady set up her boo so the other guy can take care of her.
