- #Stack in #assembly #language x86 is a LIFO data structure, i.e., the data stored first is retrieved last push pop. The memory space reserved in the stack segment is used for implementing stack. The registers SS and ESP (or SP) are used for implementing the stack.
In this video we will learn about stack in assembly language using nasm with example in debugger of stack pointer register, how push and pop instructions work in stack. We will also learn about how stack is important in passing arguments to subroutines in assembly langauge using call and ret instructions.
