But I have to say that you've done a great job. Steve on vocals is brilliant, and of course, it goes without saying that just seeing Jim and Don playing together is totally amazing. Jim is so suited to being lead guitarist. This is the line up for the future, surely? Unless a certain Mr Holder fancies a guest appearance too?

Two of these boys were responsible for delivering three of the best gigs of my life, the Slade Birmingham Odeon gigs in 1980, 1981 and 1982.
