Hi staying at the bronze hotel in gumbet next week just wanted to know what currency is best when eating out at local restaurants also what place to you recommend to eat that's nice and affordable and again in what currency. Also can u tell if the shops that sell fake designer clothing have the pricing in sterling euro or lira thinking of taking a mixture of all 3 currency's. Thanks
Yes take all 3 currency.. they will pretty much accept anything but lots prefer sterling as they get better exchange.. and haggle on the clothing €10 for a t-shirt
Hi Paz, i have eaten at Gumbet Dragon after watching your uploads. 7 nights out of 10. Thanks for the tip, so might be able to afford a cuppa between us at the airport. Keep the uploads coming mate, cheers
Best thing to do at the airport is buy snacks and a few miniatures in the duty free shop and eat and drink them. Especially when flights delayed...... Should add, guy next to youse on the plane doing what I do until the beer arrives 😂
Hi Paz, great video mate and I've hit the subscribe button! 👍 Just wanted to ask ya, my family and I ( 2 adults and 3 young kids ) are travelling to Gumbet in 3 weeks and just wanted to ask your advice about taking my drone, I've recently brought a DJI mini 2 se and wanted to take it - does it go in hand luggage and will there be any issues taking it d'ya think?! 🤔
Its cheaper to have a meal on the plane, £12 with Jet2 including a drink. We eat before going to the airport so fingers crossed no delays then eat on the plane. However I did have a flat white coffee at East Midlands airport a few weeks ago, the cup was 50% smaller than in January and the cost had gone up as well. Highway or plane way robbery...
Airport prices were crazy for poor quality food - if it was excellent it would be a different story. I doubt we’ll come back to be honest, not nice to trap tourists.
Dalaman Airport prices are on par with that antalya. Wasn't that, bad last time I was there unfortunately even in the. Uk airport outlets can charge what they like as its a captive audience
Yes. We're going September for 7 nights and 26th December for 11 nights. The December trip, we're hoping to vlog The 3 kings parade. Never seen that before.
If anybody here is going to be travelling through Bodrum Airport the prices are extortionate as shown in the video, however there are vending machines located at the end of the terminal after passing through security and duty free, which sell a selection of drinks at normal prices. If I remember correctly they are located just outside gate 203.
Spent a fortune out there mate looking at the Prices , no thanks, i honestly couldnt afford it, the Airports have always beena rip off 20 quid for a Maccies 15yrs ago.
I think Turkey as a holiday destination is finished , pure greed charging £4/5 for a bottle of efes and £15/20 for a sub standard meal. The whole point of Turkey for holiday was guaranteed sun and cheap prices so it was no problem buying a few t shirts and a bag and the odd meal out. I cannot see British tourists putting up with terrible flight times , long transfers and rip off prices in bars it’s frankly not that great , Greece, Spain will be mopping up all the Turkey tourism next year.
bodrum airport is a joke like most airports in turkey ..we were there a week before you .Thing is if people continue to buy items they wont reduce the prices.Better to get a lounge pass
They do usually have filtered water fountains, so you can take an empty bottle to fill through security.
The airport duty free was a shocker 😮
No competition is the problem
Paz bloody hell can’t believe than prices in the airport cheers mate keep them videos coming 👍

I took mine.. they did look at it but everything was fine. Has to go in hand luggage because of the batteries. Will be OK.
I’m going there 2nd September 😊

I’m in Gumbet in July my daughters fiancé (and my daughter most of the time) lives there 😊
Two massive mistakes; Jet2 and Travelodge! Avoid both! School boy errors imo!
Jet2 has always served us well and travel lodge was just ok

How much is the lounge though? And are they only open til a certain time. Most flights to UK tend to be late flights. Well our last 2 were
The prices are horrendous 😫
