Yellowbrow named his disciples in light of the OG journey crew, None-white(Bubai) as the opposite of white dragon horse. Same deal None-able(Buneng) as to Bajie(Wuneng), None-pure(Bujing) as to Sandy(Wujing), None-void(Bukong) as to Wukong.
I’m still amazed by how long it takes some people to figure out that cloud step is the best way to traverse narrow bridges with enemies trying to knock you off.
So there is actually a reason why he's called Non-White. In fact, all of the "Non" bosses have reasons for their names. They are meant to be mockeries of the original traveling party from Journey To The West. Non-White references the white steed (who is also a dragon, btw) of Tang Monk, Non-Void is for Wukong as his name translates to "The Monkey Who Knows The Void", Non-Able is for Zhu Bajie as his name translates to "The Pig Who Understands Ability" (also Bajie is the name for the 8 abstinences of Buddhism, which is something Yellowbrow hates), and Non-Pure is for Sha Wujing, whose name translates to enlightened or pure. Hope this helps.
I wouldn’t say it hard at all honestly this one of the easiest games I’ve played for sure Elden ring way harder in my opinion most bosses in this is first try an I am not over leveled if anything I’m under leveled I do enjoy the game though but it’s easy asl
@@anh456 seems u have a skill issue cuz no boss should take u more then around 10-20 tries in this game with all the magic and that’s the end chapter boss…
Some people might feel weird and offended by the name "Non-White", while "white" here has nothing to do with races.😄 When all bosses in Chapter 3 being finished, you gon find that Yellow Brow has 4 disciple named 不空(Non-Void), 不净(Non-Pure), 不能(Non-Able) and 不白(Non-White), this actually refers and corresponds to Tang Monk’s 4 disciple, aka Journey to The West team members, 悟空(Wukong), 悟净(Sha Monk's Dharma Name), 悟能(Pigsy, Bajie's Dharma Name) and 白龙马(White Dragon Horse).
The pile of treasure chests that Fourth Sister let you discover are her dowry. You should have found bloodstains all the way since you were pulled up by spider silk. In the end, you met Crane Immortal and Hand Demon, who captured Fourth Sister and said they wanted to refine her into an elixir!
You need to have a clear mind to play this game. Many times, I found myself stuck on a boss, dying many times. But when I stop and then play the next day, I clobber them first try.
I relate to this so much. I’d be fighting a boss for hours, then come back the next day and beat them first try. Tiger Vanguard, Yellow Brow, Yellow Loong, just to name a few
the story is actually amazing when up to scratch with the lore of journey to the west, the whole story comes full circle when you finish the secret ending. black myths story is basically wukong freeing himself of the iron circlet by being reincarnated
I hated the Pagoda Realm, but it was funny.. I only hated it because it mirrored the difficulty of say, Sekiro or Elden Ring's areas. It felt overly punishing because until then, every area had an option to skip tons of fights if you didn't feel like it. Also, those fucking bat monsters got an insanely good field advantage with all the walls and pits.. I think they can attack your camera directly, actually.
I was the same when it comes to the story..but i watched videos of people explaining the lore of each chapter, now im on my first NG and I'm following the story and it makes it even better
Once you beat the game the first time, you get a few cool things to play through a second time. It’s a lot better going forward with your upgrades and abilities. Enemies are a bit harder but it’s not as hard as the first go.
Difficult is subjective. I watched a video from a guy that complained about Wukong being too easy. Granted, he also said he dedicated over 2000 hrs. to Elden Ring. He mentioned it so often I was convinced it was the greatest achievement in his pathetic and sad life.
I love this game, its narrative and art, but at the same time I hate many frustrating mechanics that don’t really test your skill, but force you to farm and unlock upgrades, through farming.
I had to to do the bridge with a drift stick/ and cloud stepping at the same time...😢😖... I'm playing ng+4 on the last boss, just to get the Wukong Stance 😮
0:22 the fact i just turned off the game after dying the nth time to yellow loong, i happen to see this video show on the feed and you start it off with yellow loong, getting a thumbs up.
yellow loong is argubly the best transformation , you can do see through mechanics, immune to thunder and dodge pretty good. and the three focus point charged heavy attack rush does ton of damage. i smoked erlang with him.
Beat all of the game and your video was hilarious good job happy you liked the game definitely my Game of the year and it flew completely under my radar till it released
I agree yellow loong is the hardest. I beat the the last boss first try. I did erlang shen like 20times. but this yellow loong, my god, it took me a whole afternoon and evening
many of the hard boss are hidden boss, u can skip them and come back later with better weapon or more skills points such as that yellow loong, if u get 100atk 40def staff from chapter 5, its gonna be much easier. especially if u use that shield transformation
If I wasn’t a souls player this game would be extremely difficult for me still challenging but the baggage I have from from soft specially sekiro helped me progress on the game smoothly
Scorpionlord was a menace for me! Took me over 30 trys to beat him! The dude just kept violating me, and he would move faster the more health he would lose! Other than him, yellow loong was a problem too!😂
Some people think this game is more like God of War, as mentioned in IGN’s review, which says it’s not a Souls-like game. However, this is more like a souls-like game than god of war, because the game doesn’t hold your hand
The game is only hard until you get spellbinder skill, then there are just a few bosses that are very hard: Yellow Loong, Scorpion King, Duskveil, Beast of chapter 5, Eerlong, Final boss.
The pagoda realm is terrible to play and a nightmare fosho, during my NG++, I hate this area still, it was so struggling that I even wanted to jump off the cliff and start anew, (while I just CAN'T), that really made me feel “生不如死”(Chinese idiom: would rather be dead than alive), however another Chinese word just sparked in my mind immediately "十八层地狱" (Buddhist terms: Eighteen levels of hell), I don't think I'm overinterpreting here instead I believe that's the reason why Game Science made this area so pain in the ass, cause they really want the gamers to feel like they were in HELL and can never get out. 🥶
as someone who didn't know how to pronounce Loong at first myself, I soon learned it was just pronounced as "long" which makes sense cuz they are quite long 😭
tbh the the hardest part of the game is Chapter 2 final boss and pre thunderclap temple Chapter 3, the rest is okay died at hard bos 5 (scorpionlord, Duskveil, Yin Yang Fish, Yaksha) time max, but most of the i streamrolled through, and then there's chapter 6 and Erlang
This game pushes me to look up exp farming videos and put in hours of grinding to get to certain levels and overcome bosses. It makes you work for it. Also, I hate that f🤬ing pagoda!
I think it's actually harder than Elden Ring. I looked forward to the launch for so long ever since seeing the first previews years ago and bought it pre-ordered. Excitedly I fired up the game, began to enjoy it up until the first boss Big Baldhead. Then I started to hate the game. I just could not beat him for the life of me. Eventually ran away past him to proceed with the game only to realise there was another OP boss soon after, and so it continued throughout the game in that vein. I hated how OP'd the bosses were and how boss-rushy the game was. I used to call it "The Most Frustrating Game of the Year". I swear I complained about this game so much I'm sure some who noticed my username must have been thinking "there he goes again" and "git good". I had a complete turn-around in NG+ whereby by that time I was severely OP myself and proceeded to take revenge on all those bosses who gave me pure hell in the first playthrough. And boy did I enjoy it. I became addicted to the game and changed my verdict from "Most Frustrating Game of the Year" to "Game of the Year". I must say for a small studio (if it is believed from what is said) they've done one heck of a job with this game. The storylines including cutscenes are simply amazing and so too the gameplay and mechanics. It's Elden Ring comparable to me. And what's even more amazing I've encountered no bugs at all in the game since playing. That has to be some kind of record.

He should’ve used ashen slumber self destruct technique
O fell like 10 times using the cloud step at the start of the bridge because it launches you foward lol
@@JC-ic3wquse it before the bridge lol it’s that easy
