The sister is worried about his brother and the brother is a bit down about it because he doesn't want to worry her, which shows the genuine care they have for each other. And even if it was the usual siblings being ass towards each other, all the story needs to make it better is that one genuine moment where both siblings have a heart to heart to show that they do really care about each other.

The fact that she put her brother first shows that she really cares. I was beginning to think Kazuya meeting Maria everywhere he goes wasn’t a coincidence and there was a chance she was stalking him but it was probably Sayaka and Tatsuki’s plan to get them together. Glad Sayaka also got a bf in the end.
