Am sitting here in awe at your skills. As someone who grew up in the 80s, and now learning how to create my own synthwave tracks, this video, in equal measure, inspires me and makes me want to burn my studio to the ground! :)
Im pretty late to finding this channel but incredibly glad I did. Its so cool that people like you share your skills for free! Amazing! I think this channel is the most complete guide in terms of having a complete song at the end of it with vocals (not vocal samples) and lyrics as well as the music. It would be great to get a little more insight on the actual notes themselves, like the progression is a 1-4-5 or the ARP pedals on a C. The commentary on the production is superb, really clear and backed up with thoughtful reasons for choosing sounds etc. Im just very grateful for you doing these vids, absolute gold for an amateur like me! And that someone is covering straight up Pop! :)

Great content and I have just bought the bundle 😊👍. I'm not fan of making all the synth elements pump, it makes me uncomfortable to listen too🤣. But on some elements like the bass, it works great👍.

How do you make your serum presets show up as if they were sylenth presets? i just mean normally you scroll from top to botton but you get all the presets visible at once, i would love having it like that, if you answer to this i would LOVE you! i already do but, you know what i mean.

LMMS is a totally free DAW and pretty beginner friendly (so I heard) The demo version of FL Studio is also a pretty good place to start with the main (and really the only) limitation being that you can't reopen your session.
If you really want to make music you will find a way! Get an old computer somewhere, buy some cheap second hand, install Reaper and Vital Vst. There are lots of free and good plugins online. You don’t have to have studio monitors, you can work with head phones.

If you would have changed the root chord to c major after 8 bars that chord progression would've had so much potential
You should make a video on how to process vocals using ONLY Cubase. That would be a challenge.

Lots of Kickstart. Why not set up an FX send channel with 1 instance and send each track to it that you're using?
They all get automated differently through the track to make it more dynamic 😁 using kick start on an fx send wouldn’t get the same result.
