Amazing video and review! Seeing this sort of brings me back to my earliest memory in my life - flying with Qatar on their A330 on my first ever flight back in 2007!
Oh my god, this video is amazing. I love QA so much! This experience is almost the same as on my best flight ever, from Warsaw to Doha. Their service is on the highest possible level. Greetings from Poland! :)
OH MY GOD so story time ever once a year me and my family (me my sis my mom and my dad) go to england (we live in thailand) and we always take qatar airways but last year i couldn't go because of covid and so I went into a depressed like state because England and airplane rides are what fueled my happiness so then 1 year past and its 2021 and my entire family got both doses of the vaccine so my mom booked tickets to go to england qatar airways and when I heard the boarding music my body just shattered into a million pieces cuz I miss england soo much 😔😔
The A330 of Qatar Airways mainly flies mid-haul routes with flight times of around 6/7 hours. Therefore the seat isn't made to be as comfortable as the ones on their long-haul planes such as the A380 which flies longer distances. There weren't any particular problems I noticed though...
Hat nem tudom, a fedelzeti entertrainment system szerintem ossze sem hasonlithato az emirates-el, nem beszelve arrol, hogy ok 777 repulnek ami egy szelestorzsu gep.
I've got relatives coming to Australia through this flight in a few months. I'm curious to know if there were: A. Hungarian translations of the flight literature, B. Hungarian-speaking crew, and C. Hungarian-language announcements made over the PA system? Thanks for your video!
Hey there! As Qatar Airways is based in an Arabic speaking country, and transports passengers who predominantly speak English, their inflight magazine is only written in these two languages. Also, there are no Hungarian announcements made specifically over the PA, however there are sometimes Hungarian crew members aboard a flight to Budapest.. this purely depends on luck and is not always 100%, though I know Qatar Airways tries to position their Hungarian speaking crew members on these flights. Hope that answers your question!
Of course, being a Middle-Eastern airline, there's not too much one can expect, but I would have hoped that a return flight from Budapest, carrying a large proportion of Hungarian passengers, the airline would make some accommodations. My relatives coming don't speak English, and as much as we can try to prep them for what's coming, there's a level of uncertainly they must deal with in having that language barrier. It can put a lot of people off travel. Thanks again.
zoltan90 It sure can, unfortunately this is how it is. If your relatives happen to be on a flight with Hungarian crew onboard, they will assist them as much as possible and I have found them to be quite helpful. There is extra transit help that can also be requested through them!
zoltan902 yeah that can be entirely possible. I know that Qatar Airways took over Malév’s route to Doha and assisted passengers booked on malév flights after bankruptcy occurred

What is the comfort like on this plane type compared to A380? Also what was it like in the last row, any problems?

Hat igen, sajnos ez a bizonyos repülőgép típus Qatar-nál elégé régi és egyáltalán nem felel meg az entertainment IFE-jük a mai világban :(
Good job.
Nice Report :) A LIKE for you :)
i thought qatar retired their A330s

Incidentally, I assume that the gulf carriers might have taken on a lot of the Hungarian cabin crew that lost their jobs when Malév collapsed.

I have never sat in the last row before
Is the flight a fatiguing flight?
It wasn't that tiring, no
