    Trends is an interesting Function. I was wondering what I would have to do to track uptime/downtime of a machine? Thank you for all your videos The have helped me do my first plc setup. Tomorrow is bench test day since all the components are finally in. Wish me luck

      Check out the RTO instruction, that should help you track run time. I'm surprised I don't have a video on that, I'll have to put it on the list.

    Hi Tim, I just started a project here at work using CCW and your videos have been very helpful so first off thank you for that. My project is a Micro 850, a PV800 and 5 PowerFlex 525 with Ethernet comms. I was wondering if you had any plans on doing a series for the PV800? The first issues i had was being able to enter a timer value from the HMI, it took some looking on youtube but finally found out how to do it. It would be nice to sit through one of your series on the PV800 if you have a subscriber wish list going. Again thank you for great information.

    Hey Tim! Its Tim. I was trying to follow along with this video but I have no trend folder in my controller or project organizer. Is there a setting I need to adjust. I'm running the latest version of the Developer Addition. Also, while I'm thinking about it, this new version highlights the rungs green when they go high instead of red. I cannot figure out how to change it. Properties doesn't give me the option. Thanks man!

    General question, but does CCW allow you to force inputs in ladder logic (by setting the physical input tag to read/write first ofcourse or else the program won't build)? In my current setup, the logical value does change but the state change does not get carried through the rung (I am using these inputs to trigger timers via an OSR). The logic works fine if I trigger the input via the Micro800 Simulator.

      Yes, it has forces. It is on the list to do a video on. Open up the global variables and find the Lock column. Check the box on the bit you want to force then check the logical value box.

      Tim Wilborne what i meant is I’m able to force the Inputs but the rungs on which they are used as contacts doesn’t follow through and the logic does not get evaluated. Not sure why... . Any way i could share my project or a screenshot maybe?

    Do you happen to know if there is a way to connect wonderware to a micro820 to monitor the "Trends" tab?

    • @TimWilborne
      @TimWilborne  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it would be easier to set up a separate trend in Wonderware

      @@TimWilborne by setting up an analog output from the micro820 to wonderware?
